Robotics startups · Social media

Show the robot at work, then say which plant it runs in.

Social media marketing for a robotics startup is the use of LinkedIn, YouTube and short video to show a machine doing real work before the people who approve its purchase. GullySales plans the clips, the posts and the replies that keep the robot in view between demos.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For robotics startups

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Plant heads read professional feeds”

Operations and plant heads read LinkedIn and forward clips to colleagues. A reel built for a general audience wins applause from students and engineers, not purchase approvers, so channel and audience are chosen together.

  • “A clip needs context”

A robot gliding down an aisle looks impressive and explains nothing. The viewer needs the job, the floor, the shift and the problem on screen at the start, or they scroll on.

  • “The founder posts, the company page sleeps”

A founder's profile reaches further than the company page, yet posts appear after an expo and vanish. A buyer who checks the profile finds nothing recent and draws a conclusion.

  • “Hosts dislike being filmed”

Plant managers worry about showing the floor, the process or the staff. Filming without written permission and a plan to blur sensitive areas loses the site as a reference.

What we do

What we deliver for robotics startups.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Channel plan

A choice of LinkedIn, YouTube and one short-video channel, with the purpose of each written down.

Result: Each channel has one stated job.

  2. Clip library

Short working clips cut from site footage, each with the job named on screen and a caption in plain words.

Result: A folder of clips sorted by job.

  3. Founder post guide

Post outlines the founder can write in a short sitting, built on site visits, buyer questions and pilot lessons.

Result: A list of post ideas drawn from real sites.

  4. Filming permission note

A short form recording what may be filmed, what is blurred and where the clip may be used.

Result: Every published clip has a permission on file.

  5. Public reply guidance

Guidance on answering price, service and spares questions in comments, and on when to move to a call.

Result: Written replies for the questions buyers ask first.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these robotics startups.

How it works

How the social media work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is Instagram worth it for us?
Only for a robot sold to schools, hotels or retail, where the buyer is also a consumer. For factory and warehouse buyers we put effort into LinkedIn and YouTube first.
Do paid posts help?
Paid posts can put a clip before plant heads in a named industry or city. Whether to pay depends on the platform's current rules and your own budget, which we set with you.
Who films the robot?
Your team or ours, depending on the site. We write the shot list so footage taken on a busy shift can still be cut into clips a buyer understands.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
