Scrap recycling companies · WhatsApp marketing

Use WhatsApp for the rate sheet, the pickup slot and the weighbridge slip.

WhatsApp marketing for a scrap yard means using the app sellers already use for quotes, pickup coordination and payment confirmation. GullySales works on a business number, saved replies, a rate-sheet routine and sensible rules for who receives messages.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For scrap recycling companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Sellers already send photographs of the heap”

A stores head sends a picture of the scrap and asks for a rate. A business number with saved replies and a place to note the metal and quantity turns that photograph into a quote.

  • “A broadcast without consent loses the contact”

Sending the rate list to every number in a phone book breaks trust. Contacts who asked for it, or who lifted with you, get the rate sheet. Others get a single polite introduction.

  • “The chat is also the record of the deal”

A rate agreed in a chat settles arguments later. Keeping those chats in a shared business number rather than a staff member's personal phone keeps the history when staff change.

What we do

What we deliver for scrap recycling companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business number and profile

A business profile with address, metals bought and hours, plus a catalogue of the metals you take.

Result: A profile that shows the yard and lists what you buy.

  2. Saved replies and labels

Ready answers for rate, pickup, documents and payment, and labels for stage of each seller.

Result: Replies saved for the questions you answer again and again.

  3. A rate-sheet routine for consenting contacts

A message format for sending the current rates to sellers who asked for them.

Result: A contact list marked with who agreed to receive rates.

  4. A photo-to-quote path

A short set of questions that turns a photograph of scrap into a written quote.

Result: A quote template filled from a seller's photograph.

  5. Staff rules for the shared number

Who answers, who quotes and how chats are handed over.

Result: A one-page rule sheet for everyone on the number.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send bulk messages to all sellers?
Send only to people who agreed to hear from you or who have lifted with you. Check WhatsApp's current rules on business messaging, since they change.
Should we use the API or the Business app?
A small yard may do well with the Business app. A larger team that needs shared inboxes and automation may use the API through a provider. We recommend after seeing your volume.
What about voice notes and calls?
Sellers like them. Allow them, and have staff summarise key points in text afterwards, so the quote and pickup are in writing and can be found again.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
