Packaging manufacturers · Content marketing

Answer the board grade question before anyone asks you for a rate.

Content for a packaging unit is the plain writing a brand needs before it can order: ply and board grade, dieline files and food contact grades. It also covers what the plastic rules mean for their pack. GullySales writes it with your technical team and gives each piece a route to an enquiry.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the free audit onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For packaging manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • A founder searches the specification before the supplier

What GSM for a shipping box, how a dieline is prepared, what printing a laminate pouch costs. Whoever answers gets asked for the rate.

  • Material rules are the question of the year

Brands moving off plastic want to know which paper or recyclable option suits their product, and most cannot get a straight answer from anyone.

  • Your estimator already writes this every week

The explanations typed into WhatsApp replies, collected and edited, beat anything written by somebody who has never stood on the floor.

What we do

What we deliver for packaging manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list of the questions buyers actually ask

The questions your estimator and sales team answer most, gathered from replies and calls, and put in order of how close each is to an order.

Result: Writing starts from real questions rather than a keyword tool.

  2. Specification guides on board, ply and print

Plain guides on choosing board grade, flute, GSM and print process for a given product and freight route.

Result: A buyer arrives with a specification instead of a vague idea.

  3. A dieline and artwork guide for small brands

A short page showing what file you need, how bleeds and creases work and what delays an artwork approval.

Result: Artwork rounds drop and jobs reach the press sooner.

  4. Material and rules explainers checked by your team

General explanations of recyclable and paper options, food contact grades and producer responsibility, written with your technical head and pointed at the right authority.

Result: Brands changing material start the conversation with you.

  5. Case notes on jobs you are allowed to name

A short write-up of a job with the problem, the pack that solved it and the result, published only where the client has agreed.

Result: A new buyer sees work like theirs already done.

  6. A monthly note of what each piece brought

Page views, enquiries and samples traced to each piece published, set against the baseline recorded at the audit.

Result: The writing that works gets continued and the rest is dropped.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for packaging manufacturers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your top accounts, how enquiries are handled, how many samples become orders and how quotations are written.

  2. 2

    Fix quoting and samples

A quotation format that shows value, and a sample tracker with a follow-up date for each one.

  3. 3

    Show what you make

Pages by packaging type and industry, material explainers and a capability profile for vendor registration.

  4. 4

    Reach new accounts

Outreach to brands and manufacturers that fit your products, timed to launches, redesigns and material changes.

  5. 5

    Keep and grow accounts

Regular reviews with running accounts, and price revisions discussed early with clear reasons.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can you write about plastic rules and producer responsibility for us?
In general terms, and checked by your technical head. We explain what a brand should ask and where the duty sits, and point them to their own consultant or the authority for a ruling. We do not promise compliance on your behalf.
How often should a packaging unit publish?
Less often than you fear, and better. Six solid pieces answering real buying questions do more than a post a week. We start with what your estimator is asked most.
How do we get on a big brand's approved vendor list?
Be known before the opening appears. Keep a capability profile ready for vendor registration, and stay in touch with the purchase and brand teams. When they launch or redesign a product, offer a sample first.
How should we talk to buyers when paper prices rise?
Agree price-revision terms in the quotation, tied to board or paper prices, before the order starts. Then when prices move, the conversation follows an agreement instead of a surprise.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
