Packaging manufacturers · Email marketing

A quotation sent in March is still worth a message in June.

Email and WhatsApp do two jobs for a packaging unit: chasing the quotations and samples that went quiet, and staying in front of buyers between orders. GullySales rebuilds the list from your quotation and dispatch records, then runs both, written for the person who has to read them.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For packaging manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Every dieline you paid for is a warm contact

A die and plates cost money whether the order came or not. The brand that approved a dieline and went silent is the best name on your list.

  • A price revision is a note, not an argument

When kraft rates move, a short message to each running account, sent before the invoice, keeps the discussion on paper and out of a shouting match.

  • Festival buyers are booked months early

Sweet shops, dry fruit sellers and gifting firms fix their rigid box orders long before Diwali, so a mail going out in October is already late.

What we do

What we deliver for packaging manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A contact list rebuilt from quotations and dispatches

Every buyer you have quoted, sampled or supplied, pulled out of files and phones into one list with the pack, the quantity and the date.

Result: You can reach every brand you have ever worked for.

  2. A follow-up sequence for quotations and samples

Dated messages against each quotation and sample, with a call scheduled alongside and the reason logged when it ends.

Result: Samples stop dying quietly on somebody's desk.

  3. Price revision notes drafted in advance

A ready message explaining a board or film rate change, tied to the revision terms in your quotation, to go out the day rates move.

Result: Buyers hear it from you before they hear it from the invoice.

  4. Festival reminders timed for gifting buyers

A dated run of messages to sweet shops, gifting firms and dry fruit sellers, going out months ahead of the season with samples offered.

Result: Seasonal orders are booked while there is still machine time.

  5. WhatsApp templates kept to consent

Approved message templates on a business number, sent to people who wrote to you, with stopping made easy and recorded.

Result: The channel your team depends on stays usable.

  6. A monthly count of orders traced to follow-up

Replies, revived quotations and orders attributed to email and WhatsApp, reported against the baseline from the audit.

Result: The follow-up is judged on orders it brought back.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

We look at your top accounts, how enquiries are handled, how many samples become orders and how quotations are written.

Pages by packaging type and industry, material explainers and a capability profile for vendor registration.

  4. 4

    Reach new accounts

Outreach to brands and manufacturers that fit your products, timed to launches, redesigns and material changes.

  5. 5

    Keep and grow accounts

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do purchase managers read email?
For a rate, a dispatch note or a revision, yes. For a newsletter, no. Build the programme on messages a purchase officer has a reason to open, and keep WhatsApp for what is genuinely urgent.
Can we send offers on WhatsApp to everyone who once enquired?
With care. Keep to people who wrote to you, keep the message useful, and make stopping simple. A broadcast list built from scraped numbers gets the number blocked, and your team loses the channel it runs on.
How do we get on a big brand's approved vendor list?
Be known before the opening appears. Keep a capability profile ready for vendor registration, and stay in touch with the purchase and brand teams. When they launch or redesign a product, offer a sample first.
How should we talk to buyers when paper prices rise?
Agree price-revision terms in the quotation, tied to board or paper prices, before the order starts. Then when prices move, the conversation follows an agreement instead of a surprise.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
