Packaging manufacturers · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the box a buyer names, not for the word packaging.

Search engine optimisation for a packaging unit decides whether a purchase officer looking for a three-ply carton maker in your industrial belt opens your page or a competitor's. GullySales builds a page for each pack type, with board grade, ply and print process written on it, and clears what keeps those pages out of results.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For packaging manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Buyers search by pack type and place

A purchase officer types mono carton manufacturer in Peenya, or three ply box supplier near Bommasandra. One combined products page answers neither search.

  • Specification is what the page has to carry

Board GSM, ply, flute, print process and minimum quantity, written on the page, let a buyer judge the fit before picking up the phone.

  • Your whole range is locked inside a PDF

Most packaging websites hide the catalogue in a download, which leaves four thin pages for a search engine to read and nothing to rank.

What we do

What we deliver for packaging manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each pack type you run

Separate pages for corrugated shippers, printed mono cartons, laminate pouches, paper bags and labels, each naming the board or film, the print process and the minimum order.

Result: A buyer searching for their own pack finds a page about it.

  2. Specification written where a buyer can read it

GSM, ply, flute, bursting strength and print process stated on the page instead of sitting inside a catalogue nobody downloads.

Result: Purchase officers stop writing in to ask what you already make.

  3. Pages written for food, pharma and online sellers

A page per buying sector covering the grades, checks and documents that sector asks a new converter for.

Result: A brand sees a supplier who knows their approval process.

  4. The catalogue opened up into real pages

Product lines currently trapped in a PDF rebuilt as pages with photographs of the actual job, so each one can be found and linked to.

Result: The range stops being invisible.

  5. A technical clean-up of the site

Page speed, mobile layout, broken links and missing titles fixed, since most packaging sites were built once and then left alone.

Result: A good page is no longer held back by a fault nobody noticed.

  6. A monthly report by pack type

Search positions and enquiries counted for each pack type page, set against the baseline taken before work started.

Result: You can see which pack brings buyers and which page is dead weight.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for packaging manufacturers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your top accounts, how enquiries are handled, how many samples become orders and how quotations are written.

  2. 2

    Fix quoting and samples

A quotation format that shows value, and a sample tracker with a follow-up date for each one.

  3. 3

    Show what you make

Pages by packaging type and industry, material explainers and a capability profile for vendor registration.

  4. 4

    Reach new accounts

Outreach to brands and manufacturers that fit your products, timed to launches, redesigns and material changes.

  5. 5

    Keep and grow accounts

Regular reviews with running accounts, and price revisions discussed early with clear reasons.

  • Burhani Hydroline

    Situation
The website was dated. Menus were hard to follow, pages were slow, and it did not work properly on a phone, which is where a buyer looks first.

    • Wireframes and prototypes
    • The full product catalogue
    • An online checkout

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which pages should a box unit build first?
The packs you have spare capacity for. A page each for three-ply shippers, printed cartons and paper bags earns its own searches. One products page listing every line earns none of them.
How long before search brings enquiries?
Months rather than weeks for a crowded term like corrugated box manufacturer, sooner for something narrow such as food grade paper bowl. The audit records what search brings you today, so the monthly report has something to measure against.
How do we get on a big brand's approved vendor list?
Be known before the opening appears. Keep a capability profile ready for vendor registration, and stay in touch with the purchase and brand teams. When they launch or redesign a product, offer a sample first.
How should we talk to buyers when paper prices rise?
Agree price-revision terms in the quotation, tied to board or paper prices, before the order starts. Then when prices move, the conversation follows an agreement instead of a surprise.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
