Packaging manufacturers · Digital marketing

Decide what the listing, the website and Instagram are each for.

Digital marketing for a packaging unit is giving each channel a job. The marketplace listing brings volume buyers, the website has to survive a purchase team's check, and Instagram is where small brands find a printer. GullySales runs all three to one plan and reports which produced the order.

A steam traction engine belted across a stackyard to a wooden threshing machine: the long flat belt taut between the flywheel and the drive pulley, the flywheel spinning, a straw elevator raking up off the far end, a full sack hanging on the sack spout, a corn stack half taken down behind and a water cart standing by

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For packaging manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Two buyers arrive through two different doors

A pharma purchase head opens your website and asks for documents. A D2C founder sends an Instagram message at midnight with a mock-up attached.

  • The listing and the website have to agree

A buyer who finds you on IndiaMART opens your site next. A thinner page with fewer products and older photographs undoes the listing.

  • WhatsApp carries the repeat order and nobody records it

Rate revisions, dispatch photographs and next month's schedule all move on WhatsApp, in one person's phone, where the company cannot see them.

What we do

What we deliver for packaging manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One plan saying what each channel is for

A written split between marketplace, search, Instagram, LinkedIn and outreach, with the buyer each is aimed at and the budget each gets.

Result: Spending stops being decided by whoever called your office last.

  2. The marketplace listing brought in line with the site

Product range, photographs, certifications and the pricing basis checked across IndiaMART and your website so a buyer sees one supplier.

Result: Checking you up does not raise a doubt.

  3. WhatsApp Business set up for schedules and dispatches

A company number with catalogue, quick replies and dispatch confirmation templates, so repeat orders are confirmed in writing.

Result: A schedule is recorded instead of remembered.

  4. Every enquiry landing in one record

Marketplace, website, WhatsApp, Instagram and phone enquiries logged into a single CRM record rather than four separate inboxes.

Result: Whoever picks up can see this brand already wrote in last week.

  5. Instagram and search split between the two buyers

Founder-facing work kept on Instagram and small-quantity pages, and purchase-facing work kept on search, LinkedIn and the capability profile.

Result: Neither buyer gets a message written for the other.

  6. A monthly report by channel and order

Enquiries, samples and orders traced to the channel that brought them, compared each month with the starting baseline.

Result: You can stop paying for the channel that never produced a schedule.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these packaging manufacturers.

  • Corrugated box and carton manufacturers
  • Mono carton and printed folding box makers
  • Flexible packaging, laminate and pouch manufacturers
  • Label and sticker printers
  • Paper bag and paper cup manufacturers
  • Rigid box and premium gift packaging makers
  • Paper and paper products converters
  • Industrial and export packaging suppliers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for packaging manufacturers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your top accounts, how enquiries are handled, how many samples become orders and how quotations are written.

  2. 2

    Fix quoting and samples

A quotation format that shows value, and a sample tracker with a follow-up date for each one.

  3. 3

    Show what you make

Pages by packaging type and industry, material explainers and a capability profile for vendor registration.

  4. 4

    Reach new accounts

Outreach to brands and manufacturers that fit your products, timed to launches, redesigns and material changes.

  5. 5

    Keep and grow accounts

Regular reviews with running accounts, and price revisions discussed early with clear reasons.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How should a packaging unit split its budget?
By where last year's revenue actually came from. If three FMCG accounts carry the plant, account work and outreach matter more than advertising. The free audit traces your orders back to a source before any money is moved.
Do we need a new website?
Only if the present one cannot hold a page per pack type with specification on it. Many packaging sites can be rebuilt page by page. The audit says which route is cheaper for you.
How do we get on a big brand's approved vendor list?
Be known before the opening appears. Keep a capability profile ready for vendor registration, and stay in touch with the purchase and brand teams. When they launch or redesign a product, offer a sample first.
How should we talk to buyers when paper prices rise?
Agree price-revision terms in the quotation, tied to board or paper prices, before the order starts. Then when prices move, the conversation follows an agreement instead of a surprise.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
