Packaging manufacturers · Branding

Your own sample box is the first thing a brand judges you on.

Branding for a packaging manufacturer is how the sample, the quotation, the plant and the profile add up to a supplier a brand is willing to approve. GullySales settles that presentation, from the sample kit you post to the capability profile a purchase team files before an audit.

A sign-painter's bench: a shop sign on a low easel lettered as far as its last character, which is still only pencilled in, a mahl stick laid across the work, open tins of paint on the floor and a finished sign hanging from its iron bracket above

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

For packaging manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The sample kit is your identity, not the logo

A brand judges the box that arrives: print registration, the pasting, the creasing, and whether it was thrown into the courier bag unprotected.

  • Purchase teams look at the floor before the brochure

Photographs of the machines, the board storage and the finishing area decide whether a plant visit gets scheduled at all.

  • Naming a specialism beats listing everything

A unit that says printed mono cartons for food and pharma is easier for a buyer to place than one offering every kind of packaging.

What we do

What we deliver for packaging manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A sample kit worth being judged on

A standard set of samples, how they are packed, what goes with them and who follows up, instead of whatever was on the table that morning.

Result: The first thing a brand touches makes your case for you.

  2. The capability profile a purchase team files

Machines, capacity, board and film grades, quality checks, certifications held and delivery reach, in a document ready to send the day it is asked for.

Result: Vendor registration does not stall while somebody hunts for details.

  3. A quotation that shows specification beside the rate

Board or film specification, print process, quality checks, lead time and price revision terms laid out next to the price per piece.

Result: You are compared on what is supplied, not on paise alone.

  4. Plant and machine photography

A proper set of photographs of the press, the floor and the finished work, usable on the website, the profile and a stall panel.

Result: One shoot supplies every place a buyer looks.

  5. One line saying what you are known for

A short positioning line agreed with you and used on the site, the profile, the quotation and the stall, rather than three versions.

Result: A buyer can describe your unit to a colleague without opening the site.

  6. Consistent use across print and vehicles

The mark, colours and contact details applied the same way on cartons, letterheads, the stall and the delivery vehicle.

Result: Your name is recognised on the road and in the receiving bay.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for packaging manufacturers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your top accounts, how enquiries are handled, how many samples become orders and how quotations are written.

  2. 2

    Fix quoting and samples

A quotation format that shows value, and a sample tracker with a follow-up date for each one.

  3. 3

    Show what you make

Pages by packaging type and industry, material explainers and a capability profile for vendor registration.

  4. 4

    Reach new accounts

Outreach to brands and manufacturers that fit your products, timed to launches, redesigns and material changes.

  5. 5

    Keep and grow accounts

Regular reviews with running accounts, and price revisions discussed early with clear reasons.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

There was no website or online platform of any kind, so nothing showed the products, their features or their technical specifications. A dealer who wanted a specification had to ask for it every time.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a rebrand or a better sample kit?
The kit, nearly always. Buyers handle your samples and quotations every week and see your logo almost never. Fix the box that arrives and the format of the quotation first.
What should we have ready for a vendor audit?
A capability profile stating machines, capacity, grades, quality checks and certifications held, kept current. Vendor registration usually arrives with a deadline attached, and the supplier who answers the same week gets considered.
How do we get on a big brand's approved vendor list?
Be known before the opening appears. Keep a capability profile ready for vendor registration, and stay in touch with the purchase and brand teams. When they launch or redesign a product, offer a sample first.
How should we talk to buyers when paper prices rise?
Agree price-revision terms in the quotation, tied to board or paper prices, before the order starts. Then when prices move, the conversation follows an agreement instead of a surprise.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
