Packaging manufacturers · Reputation management

One rejected batch is remembered longer than two hundred good ones.

Reputation for a packaging supplier is what a purchase head hears when they ask around about shade variation, delivery dates and how you behaved when a batch was rejected. GullySales sets up the monitoring, the reply routine and a way to collect written feedback from the accounts that already trust you.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For packaging manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The conversation that decides it is not online

A purchase head rings two other brands before adding a converter. What they say about your last delayed dispatch outweighs any review.

  • Small brands complain in public, large ones just stop

A founder who received crushed cartons posts about it. An FMCG buyer simply stops sending the schedule, which is harder to notice and worse.

  • A shade complaint needs a fact, not an apology

Answering with the approved proof, the shade card and what the plant changed reads far better to the next reader than a line about regretting the inconvenience.

What we do

What we deliver for packaging manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Monitoring across Google, marketplaces and trade groups

Regular checks of reviews, marketplace ratings and the packaging and printing groups where buyers ask about suppliers.

Result: A complaint is seen before a dozen buyers have read it.

  2. Reply wording for shade, damage and delay

Prepared, factual replies for the three complaints a converter actually gets, each stating what was checked and what was done about it.

Result: A reader sees the matter handled rather than argued.

  3. Every complaint linked to its job card

A record tying a public complaint to the batch, the job card and the operator, so a reply can point at a real check.

Result: Two complaints in a quarter show up as a plant problem, not bad luck.

  4. Written feedback collected from running accounts

A short note asked from buyers who have been with you for years, in a form you can attach to a vendor registration file.

Result: Proof exists for the accounts who will never post a review.

  5. Review requests aimed at the right buyers

A routine asking small brands, bakeries and gifting firms for a Google review after a good delivery, and leaving corporate buyers alone.

Result: The public rating is built by the buyers willing to build it.

  6. A monthly note of what is still open

New mentions, replies sent and unresolved items listed each month against the baseline set at the audit.

Result: Nothing sits unanswered because everyone assumed someone else replied.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for packaging manufacturers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your top accounts, how enquiries are handled, how many samples become orders and how quotations are written.

  2. 2

    Fix quoting and samples

A quotation format that shows value, and a sample tracker with a follow-up date for each one.

  3. 3

    Show what you make

Pages by packaging type and industry, material explainers and a capability profile for vendor registration.

  4. 4

    Reach new accounts

Outreach to brands and manufacturers that fit your products, timed to launches, redesigns and material changes.

  5. 5

    Keep and grow accounts

Regular reviews with running accounts, and price revisions discussed early with clear reasons.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we ask an FMCG purchase officer for a Google review?
Rarely. Most will not review a vendor in public and the ask can be awkward. Request a short written note for your vendor file instead, and keep Google reviews for small brands and gifting buyers.
A buyer has posted about a damaged consignment. What now?
Reply in public with what you checked and what you did, then settle the rest privately. Readers judge the handling more than the damage. Record the batch as well, because a pattern is a plant question.
How do we get on a big brand's approved vendor list?
Be known before the opening appears. Keep a capability profile ready for vendor registration, and stay in touch with the purchase and brand teams. When they launch or redesign a product, offer a sample first.
How should we talk to buyers when paper prices rise?
Agree price-revision terms in the quotation, tied to board or paper prices, before the order starts. Then when prices move, the conversation follows an agreement instead of a surprise.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
