Pet service businesses · Review generation

Ask at pickup, when the dog runs out clean and pleased to see her.

Review generation for a pet business is about collecting proof from the people who were most worried and came away relieved. A review naming the breed and the handling reassures the next nervous parent. GullySales sets the moment, the words and the reply to the review that follows an incident.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What review generation means

Review generation is the routine of asking satisfied customers to leave a Google or platform review at the moment they are happiest, rather than hoping they remember later. GullySales builds the request into your existing follow-up steps and tracks how many turn into a review.

For pet service businesses

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Pickup after a boarding stay is the moment”

A parent who left a dog for ten days and finds him settled and fed is as relieved as she will ever be. Ask then, in person, from whoever looked after him.

  • “A review that names the breed brings in the same breed”

Parents search by breed because grooming a Shih Tzu is not grooming a Labrador. A review saying the matting was handled patiently on a specific breed reaches exactly the owner looking for that.

  • “The handler should ask, not the counter”

The groomer or the kennel attendant who spent the day with the dog has the relationship. Asked by the person at the billing desk, the same request sounds like a process.

What we do

What we deliver for pet service businesses.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An ask at pickup by the person who handled the pet

A short, spoken request at collection from the groomer or attendant, with the link sent to the parent's phone while she is standing there.

Result: The ask comes from somebody she has a reason to help.

  2. Wording that invites the useful detail

A prompt asking her to mention the breed and what she was worried about, rather than asking for a rating.

Result: Reviews speak to the next parent's actual fear.

  3. Photographs from the stay offered with the ask

The pictures taken during boarding or after a groom shared with the parent, so she has something to post alongside her words.

Result: Reviews carry a picture of a real pet in your care.

  4. A factual reply to an incident review

A prepared approach for a review about an injury, an illness or a scared dog: what happened, what was changed, and no argument.

Result: A worried reader sees a business that faced it.

  5. Review asking tracked across services

A check on whether grooming, boarding and training customers are all being asked, not only the ones the front desk remembers.

Result: Every part of the business builds its own proof.

How the result is measured

  • Reviews received
  • Average rating
  • Response rate to requests

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. 01 · First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. 06 · At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for pet service businesses

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your facility photos, review reply rate, booking system and whether a reminder goes out before the next visit is due.

  2. 2

    Fix the response

WhatsApp booking confirmations, reminders and a missed-message routine, so no enquiry sits overnight without a reply.

  3. 3

    Build trust

Real facility photos and short videos, reviews from actual customers, and staff introductions that a nervous parent can see.

  4. 4

    Bring bookings in

Local search and the Google Business Profile, a festival season campaign for boarding, and referrals from vets and pet stores nearby.

  5. 5

    Retain

Grooming cycle reminders, a loyalty routine for repeat boarding customers, and a review ask timed to a good stay or a good groom.

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

When is the right moment to ask a pet parent for a review?
At pickup, while the dog is in front of her and clearly fine. After a boarding stay this is the strongest moment in the whole relationship. A message two days later catches her back at work and thinking about something else.
A dog fell ill during a stay and the owner posted about it. What do we say?
Reply with the facts: when it was noticed, which vet was called, and what you have changed since. A nervous parent reading it wants to know you noticed and acted. Silence or a defensive line reads far worse than the incident.
Do we need to advertise?
Not before the Maps profile and the reply routine work. Ads help most for one gap, such as boarding dates still open three weeks before Diwali.
Should our boarding page say we ask for vaccination records?
Yes. A parent reads it as a sign that the other dogs in the run are healthy too. Name the vaccines you check and the kennel cough rule, and the question stops coming up on every call.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
