CPA and accounting firms · Social media

One channel matters, and the attorneys and bankers are already on it.

Social media for a CPA firm is LinkedIn, used to stay visible to the attorneys, bankers and advisers who send you work, and to the owners inside your niche. GullySales plans the posts from conversations with your partners, keeps the claims inside professional conduct rules, and leaves the rest of the platforms alone.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For CPA and accounting firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Referral sources need reminding, not convincing”

An attorney already knows you. Appearing in their feed in July is what puts your name in the room in October.

  • “Tax tips age badly and travel far”

A post about a deduction gets shared for years, long after the rule changed, and it is your licence attached to it.

  • “Post when you can answer the replies”

Publishing on 10 April and ignoring the comments does more harm than staying quiet until the return deadline has passed.

What we do

What we deliver for CPA and accounting firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A LinkedIn plan for the firm and the partners

A schedule the partners can keep in the off season, drawn from short interviews rather than from a content library nobody recognises.

Result: Posts sound like the partner whose name is on them.

  2. Partner profiles rewritten for the niche

Headline, summary and experience written around the industries each partner serves and the introductions you want to be sent.

Result: A referral source can see exactly who to introduce you to.

  3. A review step before anything technical is posted

Any post touching a rule or a deadline checked by the partner responsible, with dated wording and no outcome promised.

Result: Nothing goes out that has to be deleted later.

  4. Engagement with the referral network

A short routine of commenting on and sharing what attorneys, bankers and association contacts publish, rather than only broadcasting.

Result: The people who refer you see you being useful.

  5. Messages routed into the intake

A rule for who answers a direct message asking about fees, and how it gets into the enquiry record before a reply is sent.

Result: An enquiry that arrived as a message is treated like any other.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Platforms for firm buyers

Where the people who refer your work look, and what a partner should post.

LinkedIn posts by a partner
Explain one compliance change in plain words, with the notification it comes from and who it affects. The action wanted is a comment or a message, not a call. Link to the official notice, not to your own summary.
LinkedIn comments on bankers' and lawyers' posts
Add a useful line under a post by a banker, lawyer or adviser who sends you work. A short, correct comment is seen by their whole network and costs less than a post of your own.
WhatsApp broadcast to existing clients
Send due-date reminders and a list of documents to gather, to clients who gave you their number. The one action wanted: send the papers. Keep it to compliance, not offers.
Google Business Profile posts
Post office hours, the busy filing periods and the documents to bring to the first meeting. The action wanted is a call to book, so keep the street and floor in every post.
What not to post for a CPA or accounting firm
Do not post client names, filing screenshots or refund amounts, or any claim of tax saved. Advertising rules for chartered accountants are set by the institute and change, so check them before any offer post.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we be making short tax videos?
Only if a partner will front them and review every one. General advice on video is where firms get careless, and the professional conduct rules still apply.
Is Facebook worth anything for a firm like ours?
For individual return work in a small town, sometimes. For business clients and referral sources, LinkedIn is where the time should go.
Should a partner post from a personal profile or only the firm page?
Start with the partner's profile, because buyers follow people more than logos. Let the firm page repost it. Agree in writing what a partner may say about clients and about the firm, so one careless post does not speak for all.
Can we thank a client publicly for an engagement?
Only with the client's written agreement, and many will say no. Audit, tax and advisory work is confidential by habit. A thank-you to a banker or lawyer who referred a matter, without naming the client, is safer and still builds the relationship.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
