Income tax consultants · Digital marketing

Join search, WhatsApp and your client list into one route to the next client.

Digital marketing for an income tax consultant is the combined use of search, maps, social posts, WhatsApp and email to bring in new clients and keep the ones you have. GullySales works on how these parts connect, so each channel feeds the same enquiry record.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For income tax consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Each channel works alone and nothing connects”

A website that nobody links to, a WhatsApp number that nobody advertises and a listing with no reviews are three half-built routes. The taxpayer should be able to move from any of them to the same enquiry form and the same first reply.

  • “Paid search suits a short window”

Searches for filing help rise before the due date and fall after. Paid ads suit that window, with a landing page that lists documents for each filer. Spending through the quiet months on the same ad wastes the budget.

  • “The cheapest lead is a returning client”

A client who filed with you last year costs a message to bring back. Compared with a new search click, a reminder to a past client at the right date is the quietest source of work in the year.

  • “Without a record, spend is a guess”

Ads, listings, posts and referrals all produce enquiries. If nobody records which one sent the client, the budget follows habit. A source sheet kept at the desk tells you which route brings clients you keep.

What we do

What we deliver for income tax consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A plan across the channels you use

A one-page plan stating the role of search, maps, social, WhatsApp and referrals in your practice, and what each should lead to.

Result: Each channel has a stated job.

  2. One enquiry route behind every channel

A single form or WhatsApp number linked from the site, listing and posts, so every enquiry lands in one place.

Result: All enquiries arrive in the same record.

  3. A filing season search campaign

Ads for the weeks before the due date, aimed at the filer types you want, with a landing page and a document list. A CA clears paid ads with ICAI guidance first.

Result: The ads end in a page that matches the search.

  4. Tracking set up from the start

Call tracking, form tracking and a source field on every enquiry, so you can read where clients came from.

Result: You can tell which route sent which enquiry.

  5. A review of spend against clients kept

A comparison of what each channel cost and the clients it produced who stayed, read after the season.

Result: The next season's budget follows the record.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need all channels?
No. Start with the pages and the listing that serve people searching, and the WhatsApp number that serves them once they find you. Add paid search and social only when the first routes work and the office can handle more enquiries.
How do we judge a digital marketer's claims?
Ask which enquiries came from the work and which clients were kept. Be careful of anyone promising rankings, a number of leads or a time to results. Ask to see the record kept from the start.
Is email still useful for a tax practice?
Yes, for existing clients. A short note before an advance tax date or the year end, with a link to book a review, reaches those who prefer email to chat. Send only to those who agreed to receive it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
