Intellectual property lawyers · WhatsApp marketing

Take the first message, the screenshots and the follow-up on the channel clients use.

WhatsApp for an intellectual property practice is a business number where a founder or brand owner can send the first message, share screenshots of a copy and receive updates. GullySales sets it up with clear rules on what is handled there and what moves to a call or an email.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For intellectual property lawyers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The screenshot arrives on WhatsApp first”

A brand owner who finds a copy sends a picture to the nearest person they know at the firm. A business number that receives it and files it saves the evidence from getting lost in a personal phone.

  • “Confidential matters need a boundary”

A chat is easy to forward. Decide which topics stay on WhatsApp, such as appointment times and document lists, and which move to a call or a secure channel.

  • “A personal number leaves with the person”

If a partner's own number holds the client chats and the partner moves, so does the history. A firm number with shared access keeps the matter with the practice.

  • “Broadcasts need permission”

A message to past clients about a renewal is a service reminder only when the client has agreed to receive it. Check the platform's current rules and ask for consent at intake.

What we do

What we deliver for intellectual property lawyers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business number and profile

A WhatsApp Business account with the firm's name, address and the matters taken.

Result: A founder messaging the number sees a firm, not a person.

  2. Saved replies for first messages

Saved replies that ask for the kind of problem, the screenshots and the dates.

Result: The first answer always asks the same useful questions.

  3. An evidence intake routine

A rule for filing screenshots and documents received on chat into the matter record.

Result: Every picture received appears in the client's file.

  4. A consent note for reminders

A line at intake asking whether the client agrees to renewal reminders on WhatsApp.

Result: Reminders go only to clients who said yes.

  5. A channel rules sheet

A page for staff saying what is handled on chat and what is moved to a call.

Result: The office knows when to say, let us speak.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is WhatsApp acceptable for legal advice?
Check your professional body's current guidance and your client's wishes. Some practices use chat for logistics and move advice to a call or a written note.
Should we use a WhatsApp group with the client?
Only with care, because everyone in the group sees everything. A one-to-one chat with a named person is safer for a confidential matter.
Can we send renewal reminders on WhatsApp?
Yes, to clients who have agreed to receive them, in line with the platform's current rules. Log each reminder and the reply in the renewal register.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
