Patent attorneys · Website

Build a site where an inventor sees your field, your background and a way to begin.

A website for a patent practice is where an inventor decides whether the attorney understands the invention. GullySales works on field pages, attorney profiles, the disclosure guide and an intake sheet that opens the conversation.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For patent attorneys

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The visitor looks for their own field first”

A chemist who lands on a page that lists every service and every field has to hunt. A page that says pharmaceutical patents, with the attorney's background, is read.

  • “Trust comes from the attorney's background”

Inventors want to know who will draft. A page that names the attorney, the degree and the kind of filings handled answers it. A page with only a firm name does not.

  • “The form should ask what the attorney needs”

A contact form asking for name and message produces vague enquiries. A sheet asking for the field, the problem solved and whether the invention has been shown gives the attorney a start.

What we do

What we deliver for patent attorneys.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Pages by technical field

Electronics, mechanical, pharmaceutical, biotech and software-related work, each written with the attorney.

Result: An inventor reaches the page for their own field in one click.

  2. Attorney profile pages

Degree, technical work, kinds of filing and the bodies the attorney is registered with.

Result: The person who will draft is named and described.

  3. The disclosure guide

A plain explanation of what showing an invention in public can do, placed where a worried inventor will find it.

Result: The guide is linked from the home page and every field page.

  4. The intake sheet

A short form for field, problem, disclosure status and the date that matters.

Result: Every enquiry arrives with what the attorney needs.

  5. A page for institutions

Fields, how drafts are discussed with inventors and how records are shared.

Result: A technology transfer office can print it and file it.

  6. Phone-friendly pages

Each page checked on a small screen, with the form and the call link easy to reach.

Result: An inventor can reach the practice from a phone without effort.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we list patents we have obtained?
Published applications are public, but client permission and professional rules still apply. Describe the kind of work rather than naming a client. Advertising rules differ by profession and by state, so check with your own council or adviser before you publish.
How many pages does the site need?
Enough to cover each field you can do well, the attorneys, the disclosure guide and the intake sheet. Do not add pages for fields where you have no filings.
Should the site show fees?
Fees depend on the invention, so a fixed price is hard to give. Explain what affects the cost and invite the intake sheet, then give the attorney's estimate after reading it.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
