Sales consultants · WhatsApp marketing

Reply to a forwarded profile with a one-page note, not a brochure.

WhatsApp marketing for a sales consultant is the careful use of one-to-one messages and a consented list to share short notes, samples and invitations with owners and sales heads. GullySales works on the first reply, the shareable material and the rules you set for yourself.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For sales consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Introductions arrive as forwarded messages”

An adviser forwards your profile to a managing director, who replies on WhatsApp. The first reply must stand alone: who you are, the trigger you work on, one sample and one first offer.

  • “A long deck on WhatsApp is not read”

Owners read on a phone between meetings. A one-page note with a sample call structure or a review format is opened. A large presentation is saved and forgotten.

  • “A broadcast list needs consent and restraint”

Adding a sales head to a list without asking costs the relationship. Ask first, say what the messages will be about, and check the platform's current rules on business messaging.

  • “Voice notes carry trust in this trade”

A consultant's value is judgement. A short voice note after a call, summarising what you heard, can show listening better than a typed paragraph, if it is brief and the buyer agrees to that format.

What we do

What we deliver for sales consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A first-reply message

A short reply that restates the trigger, names the first piece of work and attaches one sample.

Result: Every forwarded introduction receives the same standard of reply.

  2. One-page shareable notes

Single-page versions of your review format, trigger guide and dealer network note, sized for a phone screen.

Result: Each note opens cleanly on a phone and carries your name.

  3. A consented contact list

A simple list of sales heads and advisers who agreed to receive notes, with the topic each asked for.

Result: Every person on the list has a recorded yes.

  4. Message rules for yourself

A written set of limits on what you send, when you stop and how you leave a list.

Result: You can follow the rules without thinking about them.

  5. A hand-off to the call

A message that proposes two times for a call and logs the chat in your CRM.

Result: Each conversation that starts on WhatsApp has a record elsewhere.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we use WhatsApp for cold outreach?
We would not. Unrequested messages to strangers harm a consultant's name. Use WhatsApp for introductions, replies and people who have agreed to hear from you.
Is the business app better than a personal number?
The business app offers a profile and quick replies, which suit a firm that receives forwarded introductions. A solo consultant may prefer one number. We compare both against how you work.
Can we share client work this way?
Only sanitised, approved material. Keep any client detail out of chats, since messages are forwarded beyond the first reader.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
