Startup consultants · Digital marketing

Put your advice where founders look before they pick an adviser.

Digital marketing for a startup consultant is the combined work of search, content, social posts, messaging and follow-up that puts you in front of founders at the moment they decide to start. GullySales builds the pieces in order and links each one to an enquiry you can trace.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For startup consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Founders research quietly before they call”

A founder reads several pages, asks a friend and checks a profile before contacting anyone. If your presence is thin at any of those steps, you are dropped without knowing.

  • “The mix depends on the founder you want”

A student team lives on Instagram and campus groups. A professional leaving a job reads LinkedIn and search. Spreading effort evenly serves neither; choose by where your best clients came from.

  • “Activity without a source is guessing”

Posts, pages and ads that cannot be tied to an enquiry leave you unsure what works. Each channel needs a way to say how many founders it brought and how many paid.

  • “The website is where it all lands”

Whatever brings a founder in, they end up on your pages. If those pages read as form-filling, the effort elsewhere is wasted. Fix the landing before widening the reach.

What we do

What we deliver for startup consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel plan from your last clients

Where your paying founders came from, and the two or three channels worth the effort now.

Result: You know where to spend and where to wait.

  2. Pages, posts and messages that agree

The same positioning of advice, not registration, on your site, your profile and your replies.

Result: A founder sees the same firm in every place.

  3. Tracking from enquiry to outcome

Each enquiry tagged with its source and followed to paid, not paid or waiting.

Result: You can name the source of your last three paying founders.

  4. A calendar around scheme windows

Content and optional ads planned for the weeks when a recognition or grant window is open.

Result: Your effort rises when founders are searching.

  5. A review of what to stop

A list of activities that brought calls but no paid work, discussed with you.

Result: Time goes to what produces paying founders.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a startup consultant start?
With the page and the follow-up, since every other channel sends founders there. Then add search and one social platform. GullySales sets the order after seeing where your clients came from.
Do I need paid ads?
Not always. Ads suit the weeks a scheme window is open. Check each platform's current rules for advisory services, and set a spend you can review against paid engagements.
How will I know it is working?
By the count of founders who enquired, who came to a call and who paid, split by source. Reports show those figures, and no result is promised in advance.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
