Photography and videography studios · Reputation management
The album is four months late and the review says exactly that.
Reputation management for a studio is mostly about delivery, because clients rarely complain about the pictures and regularly complain about the wait. GullySales watches the reviews and the wedding groups, gets the delivery promise into writing, and asks for the review in the week the album reaches the family.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What reputation management means
Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For photography and videography studios
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“Nobody reviews the photographs, everybody reviews the wait”
A couple who loved the reel will still leave one star if the album took eight months. Honest delivery dates protect a rating better than any frame you shot.
“An associate shot it and your name carries it”
When a second photographer covers a wedding under the studio banner, the review names the studio. Brief them, check the work before it goes out, and accept that their bad day is your rating.
“The complaint reaches a family group before it reaches Google”
Studio names get passed around among relatives and in planning groups. A dispute settled quickly and generously stays out of print, and one that drags does not.
What we do
What we deliver for photography and videography studios.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
Alerts on the studio and the photographers' names
Watches on Google, the wedding directories and the platforms where couples compare studios, including the names your associates shoot under.
Result: You hear about a complaint before a new enquiry does.
A written delivery timeline in every booking
Dates for the preview set, the full gallery, the film and the album, put in the quote and repeated at handover of the advance.
Result: Nobody is waiting on a promise they invented.
A review ask at the shoot and at the handover
One short request a few days after the event and one when the album is delivered, each with a direct link and a line about what to mention.
Result: Reviews keep arriving through the long edit.
Reply drafts for delay and edit complaints
Answers ready for the late album, the missing moment and the colour disagreement, written once so nobody replies angrily at midnight.
Result: A bad review gets a calm answer the same day.
An associate brief and a check before delivery
What the studio expects of a second shooter on the day, and a review of their files before anything reaches the client.
Result: Work delivered in your name meets your standard.
A note on ratings and what was said
New reviews, replies sent and the complaint that came up more than once this season, set against the rating when work began.
Result: The delivery problem behind the reviews gets fixed.
How the result is measured
- Average rating
- Response time to reviews
- Negative mentions resolved
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
What to do with each review
How to answer a couple, a brand or a family about the shoot and the delivery.
- Praise for an album or film
- Thank them and name the shoot, such as a wedding film or a product catalogue. Ask whether they would add the city, the venue and the kind of shoot, in their own words.
- Complaint about the edit or colour grade
- Ask what they expected and look at the delivered files. Offer one round of changes if your package allows it. Keep the reference photos they sent at booking, so the grade is compared with those.
- Delay in delivery of the album or video
- Own the date, say what stage it is at, such as selection or print, and name the person who will call. Check your project sheet and the lab dates before you reply.
- Complaint that moments were missed
- Reply that you will go through the shot list and the raw files with them. Check who covered which function and whether a second shooter was booked. Keep a shot list signed before the event.
- Dispute about copyright or use of images
- Say what your contract states about the usage of photographs, and offer to explain it. Check that the contract states whether you may post their pictures and how long you keep the raw files.
- Review that looks fake or from a rival
- Match the name and date against your bookings. If nothing matches, report it through the platform's own process and reply once, saying you cannot find a booking.
Who it is for

Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- A client dispute over an edit or a late album is still open, and a public reply should wait for that conversation.
- You have no written delivery timeline in your booking terms, so a reply to a delay complaint would have nothing to cite.
How it works
How the reputation management work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Search your name as a stranger would
We search the business, its main product names and the owner's name, on a phone and a laptop, and record what appears.
- 2
Catalogue every mention
Reviews, news, listings, social posts and forum threads are sorted into accurate and positive, accurate and negative, and wrong. Each group gets a different action.
- 3
Agree the replies and the owner of each
Replies are drafted and approved by you. Anything involving a refund, a clinical matter, a legal claim or a named employee goes to the right person in your business before anything is posted.
- 4
Fix what you control
Listings, profile details and your own pages are corrected, and pages worth ranking for your name are strengthened with accurate information.
- 5
Monitor and report
The agreed places are checked on the agreed schedule. The name search is repeated and compared with the first record.
