Modular and prefabricated building manufacturers · CRM

One line per enquiry: what is being built, where, and by when.

A CRM for a prefab manufacturer is an enquiry record the factory can plan from: the building type and size, the site and how a trailer reaches it, the specification quoted, the date required, and who the contractor is building for. GullySales sets those fields up so quotations, drawings and tenders sit together.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

For modular and prefabricated building manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Site access belongs in the record, not in somebody's head”

Whether a trailer can turn into the site, and whether a crane will be waiting, decides the freight and sometimes the whole order. Record it at the enquiry and you stop quoting jobs you cannot deliver.

  • “The end client matters as much as the contractor”

A contractor building for a refinery buys differently from one building a state highway. Record both and you find out which end clients your units keep reaching, which is where the next enquiry starts.

  • “A quotation has to be findable a year later”

Sites slip. When the buyer rings back after two seasons, the specification and the figure you quoted must come up in a minute, along with what has moved in steel and panel rates since.

What we do

What we deliver for modular and prefabricated building manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. An enquiry record built around the building

Type, size in square feet, specification, quantity, the site and its district, road access, the date required and the end client.

Result: A quotation can be prepared without ringing the sales engineer.

  2. Contractor and end client as separate fields

Who is buying and who the unit is for, so repeat business can be read from both directions.

Result: You find out which end clients keep coming back.

  3. Quotations and drawings filed against the enquiry

The figure, the specification quoted, the general arrangement drawing and its approval status, in one place.

Result: A two-season-old enquiry reopens in a minute.

  4. A tender section of its own

Portal, reference, closing date, documents submitted and result, kept apart from the ordinary sales pipeline.

Result: Tender work stops living in one person's email.

  5. Rental units tracked beside sales

Which unit is on which site, when it is due back and what condition it returned in, for manufacturers running a hire fleet.

Result: Idle units in the yard become visible.

  6. A read-out for the works as well as sales

Enquiries by building type, days from enquiry to quotation, conversion by specification and the loss reasons, against the baseline recorded before the work starts.

Result: Production and sales plan from the same page.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries logged in the CRM
  • Data completeness
  • Reports generated from CRM data

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to record, and when

What a prefab building manufacturer should record about every enquiry and quotation, and whether software is needed yet.

Rate basis and what is left out
Record whether the figure is per square foot or lump sum, and what is excluded: foundation, electrical fit-out, transport, crane, erection. Disputes after award usually start with an exclusion nobody wrote down.
Drawing revision sent
Note the general arrangement drawing revision and the date it went. A contractor quoting from revision B while your factory builds revision C is expensive to find at the site.
Tender number and submission date
For government and public sector work, record the tender number, the last date for submission and the bid security status. A missed date cannot be recovered, so show it on the enquiry.
Date required against your factory slot
Record the date the building must be usable and whether the site is ready for erection. If the date is earlier than you can build, say so at the quotation, not after the order.
Reason an enquiry was lost
Choose price, delivery date, specification, or the contractor's client changing the plan. After a season the pattern shows which product pages or rates need attention.
Do you need software yet?
A sheet works while one or two engineers quote a short list of projects. Move to a CRM when tenders, drawings and follow-ups sit with several people, or when you cannot say which quotations are still open.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the crm work runs

  1. 1

    Map the sales process

We record how a deal actually moves from enquiry to close in your business today.

  2. 2

    Configure stages and fields

The CRM's pipeline and fields are built to match that process exactly, not a generic template.

  3. 3

    Set up automations

Reminders, assignment rules and follow-up triggers are configured so routine steps happen without manual effort.

  4. 4

    Test with real deals

We run the configuration against actual current deals to catch gaps before the whole team relies on it.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will our sales engineers actually use it?
Only if the first entry takes under a minute. Make the compulsory fields the ones that decide a quotation: building type, size, site district and date required. The rest can be filled when the quotation is prepared, and a record entered a week late is worth nothing.
Can it hold the tender documents too?
Keep the reference, the closing date, the submitted set and the result in the record, and keep the documents themselves in your file store with a link. Tender folders are large, and mixing them into a sales record slows everything down.
Should drawings and site photos live in the CRM or on a shared drive?
Keep the files on a shared drive with one folder per enquiry number, and put the folder link and the latest revision in the CRM. The CRM answers who, what and when. Large drawing files make it slow and hard to back up.
A contractor sends enquiries on WhatsApp. How do we capture them?
Treat the chat as the source, not the record. When a message carries a size, a site or a date, copy it into the enquiry the same day and reply from the quotation, so the figure and the drawing are found by enquiry number later.
Everyone asks for a rate per square foot on the phone. What do we tell them?
Give a band against a stated specification, and say what moves it: panel thickness, flooring, wiring, toilets, and whether transport and erection sit inside the number. A caller who hears a single figure will put it beside a 50mm shell from someone else. Naming what changes the rate is what keeps you in that comparison.
Buyers say prefab gets hot and leaks in the monsoon. How do we answer that?
With a number and an address, not an adjective. State the panel core and thickness, the roof detail and how the joints are sealed, then offer a site with a unit that has stood five years. One visit settles what no brochure will.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
