Modular and prefabricated building manufacturers · Email marketing

Write to the purchase officer the week the award is announced.

Email for a prefab manufacturer works when it is timed to an award rather than to a month. GullySales builds the contact list by project and role, writes the note that goes out at mobilisation, and keeps it current as people move sites.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Realistic editorial illustration of modular and prefabricated building manufacturers at work in India

For modular and prefabricated building manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The email that works is triggered by an award”

A note sent the week a contract is announced reaches a project manager who has not yet been told to arrange anything.

  • “Purchase officers move with the project”

The man who bought forty cabins last year is on a different site now, and the list dies unless somebody updates it.

  • “A note about a cabin coming free gets forwarded”

A project manager will pass on an offer of units available nearby. He will not pass on a company newsletter.

What we do

What we deliver for modular and prefabricated building manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A contact list by contractor, project and role

Project managers, purchase officers and consultants recorded with the site each is on and the stage it has reached.

Result: You write to the right man at the right site.

  2. An award-triggered introduction note

A short message sent within days of a contract being announced, carrying the unit types and a delivery window.

Result: You arrive before the rush enquiry goes out.

  3. A redeployment offer when units come free nearby

A note to sites within reach whenever hire units are coming back, naming what is available and from when.

Result: Units go straight from one site to the next.

  4. A consultant mailer carrying the specification sheet

Section details and loading figures sent to the consultants who write specifications across your region.

Result: Your unit type gets into their next tender.

  5. A note to past buyers

New unit types, capacity changes and recent installations sent to everybody who has bought from you before.

Result: Old customers think of you at the next mobilisation.

  6. Replies and enquiries counted

Who replied, which projects came out of the list, and which notes produced nothing, against the figures recorded before work starts.

Result: You can see whether the list is earning.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a modular building maker needs in place before mailing contractors and site offices.

Contacts by contractor, project and role
Record the project, the contractor and whether the person is purchase officer, site engineer or project manager. When the project ends, the name moves with them, so note the next site.
Consent from the quotation or site visit
Be able to show, under India's data protection law, that each person agreed to receive your mail. Record whether each address came from a quotation, a site visit, a tender or a fair, with the date.
A sender with specification sheets ready
Mail from a named person at your own domain and link to a page with panel thickness, size and load details. A site engineer judges the mail by whether the specification is there.
Segments by product and by buyer
Keep portacabin buyers, PUF cold room buyers, labour accommodation contractors and rental fleet customers apart. A cold room buyer has no use for a guard cabin note.
Project mail apart from general mail
A note tied to a project award and a general product mail are different things. Keep them on separate lists with an unsubscribe on each.
A reply path to the person who quotes
Replies go to someone who can give a rate against a stated specification and a transport estimate. An enquiry for next week that waits unread is gone by evening.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the email marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your list

We review who is on the list, how they got there, and how long it has been since they last heard from you.

  2. 2

    Audit past sends

We check open and click rates from past emails to see what has and has not worked.

  3. 3

    Segment and plan

The list is split into meaningful groups and a sending calendar is agreed.

  4. 4

    Implement content and automation

Emails are written, scheduled and, where useful, set to trigger automatically based on behaviour.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track performance and adjust subject lines, timing and content based on what the list responds to.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do purchase officers read email?
They read the one that names their project and lands in the right week. Everything else is ignored. Which is why the list has to carry the project, not only the company.
How do we keep the list current when everyone moves sites?
Update it after every job, and ask at handover where the team goes next. Two minutes at the end of a project keeps a contact alive for years.
Can we mail contractors named in a published tender award?
A published award is a good reason to research and write one relevant note to the named contact, mentioning the project and giving a way to stop. It is not consent to a mailing list. Add them only when they reply.
What should the mail say about the specification?
State the panel type, size, insulation and finish in plain terms in the body, then link to the full sheet. Mention the transport and erection scope too. Leave out any phrase you cannot back up with a drawing or a test document.
Everyone asks for a rate per square foot on the phone. What do we tell them?
Give a band against a stated specification, and say what moves it: panel thickness, flooring, wiring, toilets, and whether transport and erection sit inside the number. A caller who hears a single figure will put it beside a 50mm shell from someone else. Naming what changes the rate is what keeps you in that comparison.
Buyers say prefab gets hot and leaks in the monsoon. How do we answer that?
With a number and an address, not an adjective. State the panel core and thickness, the roof detail and how the joints are sealed, then offer a site with a unit that has stood five years. One visit settles what no brochure will.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
