Solar installation companies · Reputation management

Reply to the customer still waiting on the subsidy six weeks after switch-on.

Complaints in this trade are rarely about the panels. They are about the net meter that has not come, the subsidy that has not landed and the call nobody returned. GullySales sets a review routine at the two moments customers are happiest, and writes the honest stage-by-stage reply for the waiting ones.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For solar installation companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The industry's own bad name arrives before you do”

Every locality has a story about an installer who took an advance and vanished, and your prospect has heard it.

  • “Ask for the review twice, at the right two moments”

Once when the system switches on, and again when the net meter is fitted and the subsidy is credited. The second review is the one that sells.

  • “In a society, one complaint reaches two hundred flats”

A grievance posted in the apartment group at nine at night is read by every future customer in the building.

What we do

What we deliver for solar installation companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Review requests at commissioning and after the paperwork lands

Two asks, made by the engineer who was on the roof and then by the person who filed the application, each with a simple link and no chasing.

Result: Reviews describe the whole job, paperwork included.

  2. A stage-by-stage reply for a waiting customer

Wording that states where the file stands, what was submitted on which date and what happens next, without blaming the DISCOM or the portal.

Result: An angry post becomes a visible piece of service.

  3. Updates sent before the customer has to ask

A short message at each stage, from application filed to inspection done to meter fitted, so the silence that produces complaints never opens up.

Result: Most of the bad reviews never get written.

  4. A named person for apartment group grievances

One person who watches the society groups you are working in, answers within a day, and moves the detail to a call with the committee.

Result: The building sees a company that responds.

  5. Alerts on the company and the directors' names

Alerts across search, Maps and the local groups where installers are discussed, checked rather than left until somebody happens to notice.

Result: You answer while the post is still recent.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to do with each review

How to answer each kind of review a solar installer gets.

Praise at commissioning
Thank the customer by first name and say the kind of system, such as a rooftop system for a home. Ask whether you may post a rooftop photograph, and do not post one without a yes.
Net meter still waiting
Say which stage sits with the electricity board and which is yours, and give the application reference by phone, not in public. Check that the customer has had a status call before they wrote the review.
Low generation complaint
Say that output changes with season, shading and dust, and offer a site check. Check that the monitoring app is set up and that the customer was shown how to read it at handover.
Service call not returned
Apologise and name one person who will call. Check who holds the warranty chain, meaning the panel maker, the inverter brand and you, so the customer is told whom to ring for what.
Cheaper quote elsewhere
Reply with what your quote includes: panel and inverter brand, structure, cables, earthing and warranty. Check that every quote you send lists these by model, so the comparison is fair.
Complaint from a housing society group
Reply to the secretary by name and offer a meeting with the committee. Check that one named person handles the society's issues, so members are not each calling the office.

  • Commercial and industrial (C&I) rooftop EPC companies

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the reputation management work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current perception

We start by actually searching your business name and reviewing what a stranger would currently see.

  2. 2

    Audit existing mentions

We catalogue reviews, mentions and search results, flagging anything negative or inaccurate.

  3. 3

    Plan responses

A calm, factual response is prepared for anything that needs one, agreed with you before posting.

  4. 4

    Implement monitoring

Ongoing checks are set up so new mentions are caught promptly rather than discovered by accident.

  5. 5

    Measure and report

Sentiment and response times are reported, with your business name searched again to see what has moved.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

A customer is blaming us for a subsidy delay we do not control.
Reply with dates. Say when the application went in, what stage it has reached and when you last followed up. Facts read as competence, and other readers understand who is waiting on whom.
Should we offer something to get a review removed?
No. Fix the underlying problem, ask them to update the review afterwards, and leave your reply in place. Most readers judge the reply more than the complaint.
A customer's terrace leaked after the structure was installed. What do we reply?
Apologise and say who will inspect. Do not say it was or was not your drilling until you have seen the site. Fix or explain in writing, and photograph the fix. Check that your installers seal and photograph every anchor point.
Should we ask housing society members for reviews through their WhatsApp group?
Only if the secretary agrees to forward one polite message. Do not post to the group yourself, and do not offer anything in return. Individual customers should be asked at commissioning, in person, in their own words.
Can you get us more PM Surya Ghar customers?
We can make you easier to find and choose once a homeowner has applied. A homeowner scrolling the vendor list will usually search your name next, and your page and Maps reviews decide the call. The scheme's rules and approvals stay with the portal and your DISCOM.
Our enquiries only come in summer. Can that change?
Partly. Starting campaigns before bills rise spreads the surveys out, and the monsoon is the right time for maintenance and upgrade offers to past customers. Solar demand will always be seasonal, so the plan works with it rather than against it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
