Solar installation companies · Reputation management
Reply to the customer still waiting on the subsidy six weeks after switch-on.
Complaints in this trade are rarely about the panels. They are about the net meter that has not come, the subsidy that has not landed and the call nobody returned. GullySales sets a review routine at the two moments customers are happiest, and writes the honest stage-by-stage reply for the waiting ones.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What reputation management means
Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

Sales and marketing for solar installation companies, the overview.

For solar installation companies
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“The industry's own bad name arrives before you do”
Every locality has a story about an installer who took an advance and vanished, and your prospect has heard it.
“Ask for the review twice, at the right two moments”
Once when the system switches on, and again when the net meter is fitted and the subsidy is credited. The second review is the one that sells.
“In a society, one complaint reaches two hundred flats”
A grievance posted in the apartment group at nine at night is read by every future customer in the building.
What we do
What we deliver for solar installation companies.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
Review requests at commissioning and after the paperwork lands
Two asks, made by the engineer who was on the roof and then by the person who filed the application, each with a simple link and no chasing.
Result: Reviews describe the whole job, paperwork included.
A stage-by-stage reply for a waiting customer
Wording that states where the file stands, what was submitted on which date and what happens next, without blaming the DISCOM or the portal.
Result: An angry post becomes a visible piece of service.
Updates sent before the customer has to ask
A short message at each stage, from application filed to inspection done to meter fitted, so the silence that produces complaints never opens up.
Result: Most of the bad reviews never get written.
A named person for apartment group grievances
One person who watches the society groups you are working in, answers within a day, and moves the detail to a call with the committee.
Result: The building sees a company that responds.
Alerts on the company and the directors' names
Alerts across search, Maps and the local groups where installers are discussed, checked rather than left until somebody happens to notice.
Result: You answer while the post is still recent.
How the result is measured
- Average rating
- Response time to reviews
- Negative mentions resolved
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
What to do with each review
How to answer each kind of review a solar installer gets.
- Praise at commissioning
- Thank the customer by first name and say the kind of system, such as a rooftop system for a home. Ask whether you may post a rooftop photograph, and do not post one without a yes.
- Net meter still waiting
- Say which stage sits with the electricity board and which is yours, and give the application reference by phone, not in public. Check that the customer has had a status call before they wrote the review.
- Low generation complaint
- Say that output changes with season, shading and dust, and offer a site check. Check that the monitoring app is set up and that the customer was shown how to read it at handover.
- Service call not returned
- Apologise and name one person who will call. Check who holds the warranty chain, meaning the panel maker, the inverter brand and you, so the customer is told whom to ring for what.
- Cheaper quote elsewhere
- Reply with what your quote includes: panel and inverter brand, structure, cables, earthing and warranty. Check that every quote you send lists these by model, so the comparison is fair.
- Complaint from a housing society group
- Reply to the secretary by name and offer a meeting with the committee. Check that one named person handles the society's issues, so members are not each calling the office.
Who it is for
This is written for these solar installation companies.
- Residential rooftop installers working with the PM Surya Ghar scheme
- Housing society and apartment rooftop specialists
- Commercial and industrial (C&I) rooftop EPC companies
- Ground-mounted and open access solar developers
- Solar water heater and solar pump dealers
- Off-grid and hybrid systems with battery storage
- Brand-authorised solar dealers and franchisees
- Operations and maintenance and panel cleaning services
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You have installed no systems yet, so there are no customers to ask and nothing true to reply to
- Open complaints about subsidy or net metering are unanswered, and asking for reviews before they are resolved would invite worse ones
- No one on your team can reply to a review with the facts of the job, so every reply would be generic
How it works
How the reputation management work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Search your name as a stranger would
We search the business, its main product names and the owner's name, on a phone and a laptop, and record what appears.
- 2
Catalogue every mention
Reviews, news, listings, social posts and forum threads are sorted into accurate and positive, accurate and negative, and wrong. Each group gets a different action.
- 3
Agree the replies and the owner of each
Replies are drafted and approved by you. Anything involving a refund, a clinical matter, a legal claim or a named employee goes to the right person in your business before anything is posted.
- 4
Fix what you control
Listings, profile details and your own pages are corrected, and pages worth ranking for your name are strengthened with accurate information.
- 5
Monitor and report
The agreed places are checked on the agreed schedule. The name search is repeated and compared with the first record.

Step 2
Sales process design
