Corporate gifting and gift businesses · Reputation management

One late Diwali delivery gets repeated in every HR group in the city.

Reputation for a gifting business is what an HR manager hears when she asks a counterpart at another company whether you delivered on time. GullySales sets up the review and reference routine, drafts the replies to complaints about print quality or a missed date, and keeps your listings watched.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For corporate gifting and gift businesses

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “HR people ask each other before they search”

The reference conversation happens in a group of HR managers you will never see. What decides it is whether last year's order reached the branch offices on the right day.

  • “The complaint is usually the printing”

A logo printed off-centre on three hundred bottles becomes the story, because every employee in the building saw it.

  • “A hamper carries a date”

Dry fruit and sweets that arrive past their best are a complaint no reply can fix. Here the supplier chain is the reputation.

  • “Shop reviews are about wrapping and the queue”

On the retail side the reviews are about packing, personalisation that came out wrong and the crowd at the counter two days before a festival.

What we do

What we deliver for corporate gifting and gift businesses.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A reference list a buyer can actually ring

Companies willing to speak for you, with the occasion, the quantity and the contact agreed in advance and refreshed before each season.

Result: A procurement reference check works in your favour.

  2. Reviews and written feedback asked for after delivery

A short request to the HR contact once the gifts have reached the offices, and to retail customers after a personalised order.

Result: There is recent proof when the next buyer looks.

  3. Replies prepared for printing, delay and damage

Wording for a branding error, a delivery that missed the date, crushed packaging and a hamper item past its date, agreed before the season starts.

Result: A public complaint gets a calm answer the same day.

  4. A quality check before dispatch

A piece pulled from every batch, the branding held against the approved sample, and photographs kept of what left the godown.

Result: You can show what was dispatched when a claim is made.

  5. Alerts across listings and marketplaces

Notifications for Google, IndiaMART and the common misspellings of your company name, so nothing sits unseen for a month.

Result: You hear about it before the next buyer does.

  6. Complaint causes read for patterns

Reviews and written complaints with the cause named, whether printing, courier, supplier or the brief itself, set beside the starting position.

Result: The same failure does not return next Diwali.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to do with each review

How to answer each kind of review a gifting business gets.

Praise from an HR or admin buyer
Thank them without naming the company unless allowed, and mention the type of order, such as welcome kits. Ask whether they would let a prospective buyer call them for a reference.
A complaint about a printing or branding error
Pull the approved proof and the artwork file. If the proof was signed, say so politely and offer to reprint what is yours. If the error was yours, own it, replace it and say what check you now make.
A complaint about a missed festival delivery date
Say what slipped and what you told the buyer at the time. Give the date for the next order, and plan the Diwali order book early with a cut-off that you tell buyers in advance.
A complaint about damaged or short items in a hamper
Ask for photographs and the batch details. Replace what was damaged, and say so in reply. Check how it was packed and whether the courier handled it badly.
A shop review about wrapping, queues or staff
Reply in general terms, say what you changed for festival days, such as an extra counter, and thank them. Keep a wrapping station and a queue plan ready before the festival rush.
A review from a buyer who did not order from you
Check the order book and invoice. If there is nothing, reply that you cannot trace the order and report it through the platform if it breaks the rules.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the reputation management work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current perception

We start by actually searching your business name and reviewing what a stranger would currently see.

  2. 2

    Audit existing mentions

We catalogue reviews, mentions and search results, flagging anything negative or inaccurate.

  3. 3

    Plan responses

A calm, factual response is prepared for anything that needs one, agreed with you before posting.

  4. 4

    Implement monitoring

Ongoing checks are set up so new mentions are caught promptly rather than discovered by accident.

  5. 5

    Measure and report

Sentiment and response times are reported, with your business name searched again to see what has moved.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

A client complained publicly about a branding error. What do we say?
Say what happened, what you are replacing and by when, without blaming the printer. HR buyers judge you on how a mistake is handled, because every one of them has had a vendor fail in October.
Can we name the companies we have supplied?
Only with their permission, and several will refuse because their gifting is internal. Ask for a written yes. Where it is refused, describe the work without the name and offer a reference call instead.
A company asked us not to name them. Can we still show the work?
Yes, describe the order in general terms, such as employee kits for a manufacturing firm, and show product photographs you took yourself. Do not use their logo or name without written permission, since many buyers have a policy against it.
A reviewer says our personalised gifts were not what the photo showed. What now?
Compare the proof they approved with the photo on your listing. Replace the picture if it was misleading, and offer a fix if it was your error. Reply politely and say what you checked.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
