Jewellery retailers · Review generation

Ask at the delivery of the bridal order, not while she is paying at the counter.

Review generation for a jewellery showroom means asking at the right moment and for the right thing: the hallmark, the making charge she was quoted honestly, the way the set was altered to fit. GullySales builds that ask into delivery and handles the exchange complaint that draws most bad reviews.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What review generation means

Review generation is the routine of asking satisfied customers to leave a Google or platform review at the moment they are happiest, rather than hoping they remember later. GullySales builds the request into your existing follow-up steps and tracks how many turn into a review.

For jewellery retailers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The delivery visit beats the billing counter”

At the counter she is counting money and watching the rate. At delivery the set is in her hand and the fitting is done. That is the moment a salesperson can ask, and be told yes.

  • “A review that names hallmarking answers the next buyer's fear”

Buyers worry about purity and about an unclear making charge. A review saying the HUID was explained and the charge was told upfront does more work than ten reviews saying nice collection.

  • “Most bad reviews come from a buyback, not from a purchase”

A customer returning old jewellery is surprised by the deduction and writes about it that evening. Explaining the exchange working before she agrees prevents more damage than any reply can undo afterwards.

What we do

What we deliver for jewellery retailers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A review ask at order delivery

The salesperson who handled the order asks at the delivery or fitting visit and sends the link from the store phone while she is present.

Result: The ask lands when she is happiest with the purchase.

  2. Wording that prompts the useful detail

A short request naming what would help another buyer, such as the hallmarking explanation, the design change or the making charge being clear.

Result: Reviews answer the question the next buyer is about to ask.

  3. No incentive offered for a review

An agreed position that the store never discounts or gifts in exchange for a review, with staff told why it matters.

Result: Your reviews stay credible on a purchase this large.

  4. Exchange terms explained before the deduction

A plain sheet and a spoken explanation of how the buyback value is worked out, given before the customer agrees to the exchange.

Result: She agrees to the exchange knowing how the figure was reached.

  5. A branch-by-branch view of who is asking

Review counts tracked per showroom and per salesperson, so one branch does not carry the reputation of the whole chain.

Result: The habit is built where it is missing.

How the result is measured

  • Reviews received
  • Average rating
  • Response rate to requests

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Asking for reviews the right way

Ask at the delivery or pick-up of the finished set, once the invoice has been explained line by line.

Handover of the finished set
Ask when the finished set is handed over and tried on, after the weight, the stones and the hallmark have been explained. The thrill is highest before it goes into the locker.
Invoice walk-through first
Explain gold weight, making charges, stone charges and GST line by line before the ask. A review that says the bill was clear is worth more than one that says nice designs.
Hallmark and certificate named
Suggest the customer mention the BIS hallmark or the diamond certificate she received. The next buyer checks for exactly that before stepping into a showroom.
Owner or senior salesperson asks
The owner or the senior salesperson who sold the set hands over the review card with the box. A junior handing a card to a bride's mother looks like a formality.
Buyback and exchange customers
Do not ask a customer unhappy about an exchange deduction or a buyback rate. Explain the purity test and the rate, and leave the ask for a later purchase.
A card in the jewellery box sleeve
Tuck a small card with the review code beside the certificate and the invoice, where she will find it again at home when the family is talking about the set.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the review generation work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the customer journey

We identify one fixed point in your service, such as handover or checkout, where every customer is asked in the same way.

  2. 2

    Read your current reviews

We read every review you have, count how many were answered, and note what customers praise in their own words.

  3. 3

    Set up the ask process

Templates and a simple sending process are built into your existing customer communication.

  4. 4

    Implement responses

Every incoming review, positive or negative, is responded to by the routine set down in writing after we have spoken to you.

  5. 5

    Measure and adjust

We track review volume and rating trend and adjust the ask timing if response rates are low.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we give a small gift to customers who leave a review?
Do not. On a purchase of this size a bought review reads as one, and the review platforms take a dim view of it. A polite ask at delivery from the salesperson she dealt with works better and costs nothing.
Someone reviewed us badly over the rate we gave for her old gold. How do we reply?
Set out plainly how the buyback value was worked out, offer to go through it with her in person, and leave the argument out. Other readers are weighing whether your store explains itself, and the reply is the only evidence they have.
Should we ask on Google and on jewellery directories too?
Ask for Google first, since a buyer looking for a showroom by name sees it before anything else. Mention a directory only to customers who already use it, and check each platform's current rules. Asking the same customer to write twice feels like pressure.
The family bought for a wedding in another city and the jewellery went by courier. How do we ask?
Ask after the family confirms the set has arrived and fitted, with a short thank-you on WhatsApp and the link. Do not ask while a resize or a delivery issue is open. A call from the person who sold the set carries more weight than a bare link.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
