Paint stores · Social media

Show finished walls and the painter's craft, not a poster of discounts.

Social media marketing for a paint store is the use of photographs of finished rooms, shade ideas and painter work to keep your counter in the minds of homeowners and contractors. GullySales plans what is posted from the jobs you supply and the seasons you sell in.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For paint stores

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A finished wall sells more than a price list”

A photograph of a living room painted in a shade you matched shows the result and gives the buyer a reference. A banner with a discount shows only that you want the sale. People save the room, and then ask where the colour came from.

  • “Painters are the audience and the content”

A painter who sees the work shown at your page tells other painters, and the post carries the craftsman's name. Featuring the contractor's jobs, with their agreement, builds loyalty that a scheme from the brand does not.

  • “Instagram suits the homeowner and WhatsApp suits the painter”

The household browsing ideas sits on Instagram and Facebook. The painter and the builder answer a message. Treating both as one audience gives the painter a feed they ignore and the homeowner a message they did not ask for.

  • “Festival posting stops the day the festival starts”

Diwali repaint ideas matter in the weeks before, when the decision is being made. A post on the day of the festival reaches a family that has already painted. The calendar must run ahead of the shop's own rush.

What we do

What we deliver for paint stores.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A plan built on jobs you have done

A list of finished rooms, shade matches and waterproofing repairs, photographed with the owner's and painter's agreement.

Result: The feed is made of your own work, not borrowed images.

  2. Shade story posts

A post for a shade, with the room, the formula family and the base it was mixed in, written in plain words.

Result: Each post can be saved and shown at the counter.

  3. A painter feature routine

A way to credit the painter on the post with the painter's consent, and tag the site type.

Result: Painters share the post with their own customers.

  4. Festival and monsoon post calendar

Posts for repaint planning and waterproofing set ahead of the weeks when each question peaks.

Result: The posts arrive before the buyer decides.

  5. A reply routine for comments and messages

A short list of replies to the shade, price and delivery questions that arrive on posts.

Result: A comment about a shade gets an answer and an invitation to visit.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these paint stores.

  • Authorised dealers of a single paint brand
  • Multi-brand paint and hardware dealers
  • Paint stores with a tinting machine and a colour consultant
  • Wholesale paint dealers supplying painters and sub-dealers
  • Paint and building chemical stores selling waterproofing
  • Paint stores that supply builders and housing societies
  • Wood polish, melamine and automotive paint dealers
  • Small neighbourhood paint shops serving repaint jobs

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need to be on every platform?
No. Choose the one where your homeowners spend time and keep WhatsApp for painters. A page kept well on one platform beats five left empty.
Can we post photographs of customers' homes?
Only with the owner's clear agreement, and without the address or family in view. Some owners are glad to share a finished room. Ask before you post and note the answer.
Should we run paid posts?
Only once the page has your own work on it. Paid posts for a repaint offer in your delivery area can reach homeowners, but the post must show real rooms. Check the platform's current rules on promotions.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
