Pet product stores and brands · Search engine optimisation

Be the page she finds when she types the food her vet named.

SEO for a pet shop or brand means appearing when an owner searches for a specific food, litter or accessory, with or without a city. GullySales builds a page for each brand and product line you stock or make, and for each locality you deliver to.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For pet product stores and brands

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “She searches the brand and the life stage, not 'pet shop'”

People type the name of a puppy food, a litter or a harness. A shop page that says 'all pet needs' does not answer it.

  • “One page for every dog, cat and fish”

A single product category covers dogs, cats, birds and fish. Search cannot tell which animal a page is for, and neither can a shopper.

  • “Marketplaces take the product search”

Amazon and the apps rank above a small shop for a famous brand. The shop wins on local and on the questions the apps do not answer.

What we do

What we deliver for pet product stores and brands.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page per brand and life stage

Each major brand and product line with pack sizes, stage, ingredients as printed and how to order or pick up, in the words buyers use.

Result: A search for a specific food reaches a page that has it.

  2. Pages by animal and need

Dog, cat, fish and bird sections, each with their own products and plain buying notes, such as litter types or harness sizes.

Result: The shopper sees the right section at once.

  3. Locality pages for delivery

A page for each area you deliver to, with real landmarks and delivery information, not a copy of one page with the area name swapped.

Result: Searches with a locality include you.

  4. Short guides to the questions owners ask

How to switch food gradually, how to choose a harness size, what litter to start with, each written plainly and reviewed by a vet where it touches health.

Result: You are quoted for the question, then called for the order.

  5. Product details in a form search can read

Price, stock and reviews marked up properly so the result looks like a shop, not a blog post.

Result: Your listing carries the details a buyer wants.

  6. Orders traced to the page

Calls, WhatsApp clicks and orders tied to the page that brought them and set against the figures taken before the work began.

Result: You can name the pages that sell.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a pet owner types before buying, and the page that answers it.

puppy food for large breed
A page for large-breed puppy foods you stock, with the life stage, pack sizes and how to order. Add the maker's feeding guide and send health questions to a vet.
[brand] dog food price in Bengaluru
A brand page showing pack sizes and the current price or a plain way to ask. Shoppers compare, so do not hide the price behind a call.
cat litter types for Indian homes
A buying guide covering clumping, non-clumping and plant-based litters you sell, with the pack sizes. Link each type to its product page.
dog harness size chart
A page with a measuring guide and the sizes you stock. A buyer who cannot choose a size leaves for a marketplace with a return policy.
pet shop near me open now
This is answered by your Business Profile and a locality page, not a blog post. List hours, the brands you carry and whether you deliver.
is [brand] pet food genuine
A page naming your authorised source and the batch details printed on packs. Buyers worry about fakes, and a clear answer wins the order.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the search engine optimisation work runs

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a page for every product we stock?
No. Start with the brands and lines that sell most, then add others as customers ask. A thin page for every product competes with itself and takes time to keep current.
Should we run a blog on pet care?
Only on questions you can answer well, and only with vet review where health is involved. Generic care tips duplicate what a hundred sites say. Buying guides and feeding switch guides are more use.
Can we copy product descriptions from the brand?
Do not copy them word for word, because many sellers have the same text and search treats the page as a repeat. Write your own note on who the product suits, using the maker's facts.
Who owns the website and analytics logins?
You, as the shop or brand. Create the accounts under an email you control and add GullySales as a user. If a developer set them up in his own name, move ownership across now.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
