Pet product stores and brands · Reputation management

Answer the review about the wrong-size harness the way a good shop would.

Reputation management for a pet shop or brand is the work of collecting honest reviews from owners and replying to each one with care. GullySales sets up the request at the bill desk, the reply routine and the fixes behind the complaints.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For pet product stores and brands

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The happy customer leaves with a bag and never reviews”

She loved the advice, but nobody asked, and the only review on the profile is from the person whose delivery was late.

  • “A complaint is about a product the shop did not make”

A dog refused a food or got a loose stomach. The owner blames the shop, and the shop has no answer ready.

  • “Reviews are about 'fake' products”

A buyer got a pack from a marketplace seller and left a review on your shop's page, or a pack looks different. Suspicion spreads quickly.

What we do

What we deliver for pet product stores and brands.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A review request at the counter and after delivery

A card with a QR code at the bill desk and a message after a home delivery, asking every customer the same way.

Result: Reviews come from those who just shopped.

  2. Reply templates for the usual cases

Replies for praise, wrong size, late delivery, price, a food the pet refused and a suspected fake, each polite and honest.

Result: Every review gets a considered answer.

  3. A fix list behind the complaints

Complaints tagged by cause, such as delivery, size guidance or substitution of a brand, so the shop fixes the repeat ones.

Result: The same complaint stops returning.

  4. A return and exchange note in plain words

A short statement of what you will take back and when, such as an unopened pack, and a way to ask for a swap.

Result: An unhappy buyer knows what to expect.

  5. A check for reviews that do not match your records

A routine to match a review against a bill, and to report ones that break the platform's rules.

Result: Fake reviews are challenged properly.

  6. Reviews used on your pages

With the reviewer's permission, a few lines placed on the product or shop page they relate to.

Result: A buyer reads real words from a neighbour.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to do with each review

The reviews a pet shop gets, how to reply and what to fix inside.

Praise for advice or a quick delivery
Thank her, mention the person who helped if she did, and invite her to tell a neighbour. Note what she liked so staff keep doing it.
'The harness did not fit'
Apologise, offer an exchange within your stated policy and say how. Inside, check whether the size guide on the shelf and the page match.
'My dog would not eat it'
Reply with care. Say you are sorry, offer to help find an alternative, and suggest she speak to her vet. Do not blame the pet or the owner.
'Cheaper on an app'
Do not argue. Thank her, say what the shop offers beyond price, such as advice and delivery, and leave it there. Check whether one staple is priced too high.
'This looks like a fake pack'
Take it seriously. Ask her to bring or send a photo, check the batch and your supplier, and reply with what you found. Silence reads as guilt.
Asking for reviews within the rules
Ask every customer. Never pay, give discounts for good reviews or choose who is asked. Check each platform's current rules.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the reputation management work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current perception

We start by actually searching your business name and reviewing what a stranger would currently see.

  2. 2

    Audit existing mentions

We catalogue reviews, mentions and search results, flagging anything negative or inaccurate.

  3. 3

    Plan responses

A calm, factual response is prepared for anything that needs one, agreed with you before posting.

  4. 4

    Implement monitoring

Ongoing checks are set up so new mentions are caught promptly rather than discovered by accident.

  5. 5

    Measure and report

Sentiment and response times are reported, with your business name searched again to see what has moved.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we offer a discount to customers who leave a review?
No. Platforms prohibit rewards for reviews, and a review given for a discount tells readers nothing true. Ask politely and let the service earn it.
A review mentions our staff member by name. What now?
If it is praise, pass it on and thank the reviewer without naming the person in public. If it is a complaint, speak to the person privately and reply with a general apology and a call offer.
Should we reply in Hindi or a local language?
Reply in the language of the review if someone on staff writes it well. Keep it short and warm. If other buyers read the page in English, add a line in English too.
A one-star review is clearly from a rival shop. Can we get it removed?
You can report it if it breaks the platform's rules, but removal is up to the platform. Meanwhile reply politely and let the other reviews speak. Do not retaliate with reviews of your own.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
