Salons and beauty studios · Outdoor advertising

Your customers already walk past you, so buy the two streets and the glass.

Outdoor advertising for a salon is the shopfront, the board at the lane and a few panels inside the couple of kilometres a customer will walk or ride for an appointment. GullySales reviews what you already own, puts bridal boards up ahead of the muhurta season, and gives each panel one service.

What outdoor advertising means

Outdoor advertising is the hoarding, billboard, bus shelter or digital screen on a road your buyers already use. GullySales picks the sites from where your customers actually come from, coordinates the booking with the media owner, and gives the campaign a traceable route so it is not judged on guesswork.

For salons and beauty studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The catchment is two streets wide

A haircut or a threading appointment is decided on convenience, and nobody crosses a city for one. The panels worth buying are the ones a resident of those two or three layouts passes on the way home.

  • The glass front is the site you are not using

Most salons put the name above the door and stop there. The services that fill weekday chairs, the starting price and whether you take walk-ins belong on that glass, where somebody is already standing and looking in.

  • Bridal boards belong months before the season

A bride shortlists her artist four to six months before the date, with her mother and two friends. A board that appears during the wedding season is talking to women who chose somebody else in the monsoon.

  • A board cannot promise a skin result

Claims that a facial clears acne or removes pigmentation are the ones that attract a complaint, and on a panel they stay up for the whole cycle. Have the wording read by your own adviser before it is printed.

What we do

What we deliver for salons and beauty studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Shopfront and board review from the footpath

What the glass says to somebody walking past, whether the services and timings can be read, and whether the sign is lit when people are coming home from work.

Result: A passer-by learns what you do before they walk on.

  2. Panel list inside the walking catchment

Lane boards, gate arches at nearby societies and the kiosk at the junction, chosen from the layouts your appointment book already shows customers coming from.

Result: You stop buying reach you cannot serve.

  3. One service to a panel, with a starting price

Hair colour, a bridal package or the membership on its own board, with the price band where you publish one, because somebody who cannot guess the cost does not come in.

Result: The board answers the question that stops people at the door.

  4. Claim wording checked before the flex is printed

Anything the panel says about results on skin or hair read against what you can stand behind, and past your own adviser, since it cannot be edited once it is on the structure.

Result: Nothing on the board invites a complaint.

  5. A booking line used outdoors alone

One WhatsApp number on the panels and nowhere else, answered while the chairs are running, so an enquiry can be put down to a board rather than guessed at.

Result: You know what the boards brought in.

  6. The desk question and the monthly read

Every new customer asked where they saw you, recorded against the display cycle and read each month against the baseline taken before the boards went up.

Result: The next cycle is bought on evidence instead of memory.

How the result is measured

  • Sites booked
  • Proof of display received
  • Enquiries quoting the campaign route

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for salons and beauty studios

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at weekday and weekend occupancy, how many first-time customers returned, how bridal enquiries are answered, and what your Instagram and Maps profile actually show.

  2. 2

    Make booking easy

A clear price list, online booking through Google or WhatsApp, and a reply routine for DMs so no enquiry waits overnight.

  3. 3

    Show the real work

A portfolio of unfiltered, consented photographs and short videos by service and stylist, and a bridal portfolio sorted by look.

  4. 4

    Fill the quiet hours

Weekday offers for regulars, rebooking reminders timed to each service, and bridal and festival campaigns opened months ahead.

  5. 5

Keep the customer with the salon

A customer record owned by the salon, memberships, a product recommendation routine and a review ask after each good visit.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should the board show our prices?
A starting band, yes. People walk past a salon they like the look of because they cannot tell whether it is meant for them. A price for a haircut or a clean-up answers that from the footpath, and the full list stays inside on the menu.
When do bridal boards need to be up?
Four to six months ahead of the muhurta dates, so the boards for a winter season go up around the middle of the year. Brides shortlist early and pay the trial fee long before the shopping starts. A panel during the season catches only the brides whose first choice was already booked.
Can we say our facial or product clears acne or removes pigmentation?
Not as a promise. Under the Cosmetics Rules, a cosmetic cannot claim to treat a condition, which makes it a drug, and advertising guidelines treat such claims as misleading. We describe what the service involves and how it feels, and leave medical concerns to a dermatologist.
How do we win more bridal bookings?
Reply the same day and offer a paid trial. Brides want to see your real work on skin tones like theirs, not one filtered look. We set up a bridal enquiry flow on WhatsApp and Instagram with package details, availability on the main muhurta dates and a trial booking link.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
