Solar installation companies · Lead generation

Book the survey while the homeowner is still collecting quotes.

Solar enquiries arrive in bursts and go cold in days, because the buyer asked three installers in the same week. GullySales writes the reply that goes out within the hour, the questions that sort a real roof from a curious one, and the follow-up that keeps a quote alive after the third meeting.

A sorting hopper in a depot yard: a wide gold hopper on a steel frame, its throat splitting into three chutes that feed three floor bins, one heaped past its own spout, one half caught, one barely started

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For solar installation companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The first surveyor on the roof usually gets the order

Not the cheapest quote. The one who climbed up, measured the shadow and explained the structure while the others were still replying.

  • A photograph of the bill is worth a phone call

Ask for the last bill on WhatsApp and you can give an indicative size and range the same evening, which is what the buyer is actually asking for.

  • A society enquiry is not a home enquiry

One member collects quotes for a committee that meets monthly, so it needs a different reply, a different document and a much longer follow-up.

What we do

What we deliver for solar installation companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A reply within the hour, with words already written

A saved reply asking for the bill and the roof photograph, giving an indicative size band and offering two survey slots, used by whoever picks up the phone.

Result: You are the installer who answered first.

  2. Four questions that qualify a roof

Who owns the roof, the monthly bill, shade from a neighbouring building or water tank, and when they want it running, asked before a surveyor travels.

Result: Survey time goes to roofs that can actually be built on.

  3. Survey slots booked and confirmed like appointments

A diary with named engineers, a confirmation message the evening before and a rule for rescheduling, instead of a promise to come sometime this week.

Result: Fewer wasted trips and fewer buyers left waiting.

  4. A separate path for society enquiries

A route that captures the committee member's name, the meeting date and the number of flats, and sends the society document rather than a home quotation.

Result: The member who collects quotes can argue your case.

  5. Two follow-up dates fixed when the quote is sent

Both dates entered with the quote, along with the answers to the usual objections about panel brands, roof leaks and warranty, ready to send.

Result: A quote that went quiet gets two more chances.

  6. One enquiry register with the source on every line

Every call, form, WhatsApp message and electrician referral in one place, with the date, the source and the stage, reviewed each week.

Result: You can see where next summer's budget should go.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for solar installation companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit call we trace last summer's enquiries. How fast was each survey booked, and how many quotes were followed up after they went out?

  2. 2

    Fix the survey and quote

A reply and survey routine, a quote format that explains generation and subsidy, and a record of every enquiry and quote.

  3. 3

    Build the pages

Pages for each system and buyer type, a subsidy and net metering explainer, and local pages for the areas you install in.

  4. 4

    Bring enquiries in

Local search, reviews from installed customers, seasonal advertising, and referral relationships with electricians, builders and RWAs.

  5. 5

    Close and keep

Quote follow-up on a schedule, commercial proposals with payback, and maintenance and upgrade offers for every system you have installed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We get plenty of enquiries in summer and still miss our numbers. Why?
Usually the gap between enquiry and survey. Trace last April's enquiries and check how many were surveyed within three days. That number explains the year.
Are portal enquiries worth chasing?
Yes, but treat them as the start of a comparison, not a warm lead. The homeowner is looking at several registered vendors, so speed and a clear quote decide it.
Can you get us more PM Surya Ghar customers?
We can make you easier to find and choose once a homeowner has applied. A homeowner scrolling the vendor list will usually search your name next, and your page and Maps reviews decide the call. The scheme's rules and approvals stay with the portal and your DISCOM.
Our enquiries only come in summer. Can that change?
Partly. Starting campaigns before bills rise spreads the surveys out, and the monsoon is the right time for maintenance and upgrade offers to past customers. Solar demand will always be seasonal, so the plan works with it rather than against it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
