GullySales

Solar installation companies · Digital marketing

Spread a year of marketing across a trade that lives in four months.

Solar demand is seasonal, and most installers spend everything in the rush and nothing in the rains. GullySales writes the year as a plan: build before the bills rise, sell societies and commercial roofs when homes go quiet, and report on surveys and orders rather than on enquiry counts.

A steam traction engine belted across a stackyard to a wooden threshing machine: the long flat belt taut between the flywheel and the drive pulley, the flywheel spinning, a straw elevator raking up off the far end, a full sack hanging on the sack spout, a corn stack half taken down behind and a water cart standing by

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For solar installation companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The monsoon is your selling season for the other buyers

Committees meet through the rains and factories plan the next financial year. Only the homeowner disappears.

  • Enquiry numbers flatter a solar business

Two hundred summer enquiries and forty surveys is a worse month than eighty enquiries and sixty surveys, and only one of those numbers is usually reported.

  • The work has to survive site season

When every engineer is on a roof, marketing stops unless one person owns it and the hour is fixed before the day starts.

What we do

What we deliver for solar installation companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A plan written around the season

What runs before summer, what runs during it, and what carries the monsoon, with the residential and commercial budgets separated and the things you are not doing listed.

Result: The quiet months have work planned for them.

  2. The monsoon programme for past and commercial customers

Panel cleaning and inspection offers to installed customers, committee outreach and factory roof proposals, prepared in advance for the weeks home enquiries fall away.

Result: The crew and the sales team stay occupied.

  3. One person accountable, with the hour blocked

A named owner for the website, the advertising and the follow-up records, with a weekly slot agreed with you at the start of the engagement.

Result: The work continues during the busiest weeks.

  4. One funnel measured end to end

Enquiries, surveys done, quotes sent, orders signed and the value of each, by source and by system type, reported monthly against the baseline.

Result: You find the stage where the orders are really lost.

  5. A season-end review of every channel

After the rush, a written look at what each channel cost and what it produced, with a decision to keep, change or drop it before the next cycle starts.

Result: Next summer's money goes where this summer's orders came from.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for solar installation companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit call we trace last summer's enquiries. How fast was each survey booked, and how many quotes were followed up after they went out?

  2. 2

    Fix the survey and quote

A reply and survey routine, a quote format that explains generation and subsidy, and a record of every enquiry and quote.

  3. 3

    Build the pages

Pages for each system and buyer type, a subsidy and net metering explainer, and local pages for the areas you install in.

  4. 4

    Bring enquiries in

Local search, reviews from installed customers, seasonal advertising, and referral relationships with electricians, builders and RWAs.

  5. 5

    Close and keep

Quote follow-up on a schedule, commercial proposals with payback, and maintenance and upgrade offers for every system you have installed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we stop advertising in the monsoon?
Cut the home campaigns and keep a small commercial and society spend running. Those buyers decide slowly, so reaching them in the rains means orders in the dry months.
How do we judge this within one season?
By surveys booked and the days between enquiry and survey, both visible within weeks. Orders follow, but those two numbers tell you early whether it is working.
Can you get us more PM Surya Ghar customers?
We can make you easier to find and choose once a homeowner has applied. A homeowner scrolling the vendor list will usually search your name next, and your page and Maps reviews decide the call. The scheme's rules and approvals stay with the portal and your DISCOM.
Our enquiries only come in summer. Can that change?
Partly. Starting campaigns before bills rise spreads the surveys out, and the monsoon is the right time for maintenance and upgrade offers to past customers. Solar demand will always be seasonal, so the plan works with it rather than against it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
