Stock brokers · Content marketing

Explain transmission, nomination and corporate actions, not the market.

Content marketing for a broking firm is the writing that answers an investor's paperwork and process questions, with no recommendation anywhere in it. GullySales plans and writes that material around your compliance officer's review, so the calendar survives contact with it.

A newsstand under a striped awning: three tiers of folded publications racked spine on, one title on the top tier turned to face the street, and a crate of rolled copies at the foot of the stand

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the free audit onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For stock brokers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The pieces that work are about death and paperwork

Transmission of shares after a parent dies, unclaimed dividends, a certificate nobody dematerialised in 1998. These are searched constantly and written about badly.

  • Anything with a company name in it becomes a recommendation

A piece analysing a listed company reads as a call, whatever the disclaimer says. Keep the writing on mechanisms, processes and rights, and the compliance conversation gets short.

  • Regional language material reaches the client an app does not

The investor who wants a branch often reads Kannada or Marathi more comfortably than English. Almost nobody publishes this material in those languages.

  • Your own dealers already know the subjects

Half an hour with the dealing desk produces a year of writing. The questions they answer ten times a week are the ones nobody has written down.

What we do

What we deliver for stock brokers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A subject list drawn from the dealing desk

The questions your dealers, branch staff and back office answer repeatedly, collected and turned into a year of writing.

Result: Every piece answers a question somebody actually asked.

  2. Process guides an investor can follow

Step by step material on dematerialisation, transmission, nomination, IPO application and account closure, with the forms named.

Result: A family can act on the page without ringing three times.

  3. A review route with dates against each step

Draft, compliance review, revision and publication, with the working days for each agreed before a calendar is set.

Result: The schedule accounts for the officer's time.

  4. Regional language versions where you have branches

Key guides translated for the languages your branches actually work in, checked by somebody who speaks it rather than by a tool.

Result: The investor reads it in the language she thinks in.

  5. Disclosures attached at the template level

Risk wording, registration details and the grievance route built into the format itself, so no piece goes out without them.

Result: Nothing gets forgotten on a busy day.

  6. Reporting on what each piece brought in

Visits, enquiries and account openings traced to each guide, reported monthly against the starting position.

Result: You can see which subject deserves more writing.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these stock brokers.

  • Full-service regional stock broking firms
  • Authorised persons attached to a larger broker
  • Depository participants offering demat services
  • Commodity and currency derivatives brokers
  • Brokers focused on HNI and family portfolios
  • Brokers serving traders in wholesale and commodity markets
  • Firms combining broking with mutual fund distribution
  • Brokers with branch networks in smaller towns

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for stock brokers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at account opening, activation and dormancy numbers, branch and authorised person activity, and how content moves through compliance.

  2. 2

    Fix activation

A first-weeks routine for new accounts and a plan for the dormant book, so accounts opened become accounts used.

  3. 3

    Build the approved kit

Education content and templates written with compliance review built in, for head office, branches and authorised persons.

  4. 4

    Bring investors in

Local search for each branch, referral routines with CAs and lawyers, and campaigns for real problems such as transmission.

  5. 5

    Keep families together

Consolidation conversations and steady service, so the relationship passes to the next generation.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Will education content actually bring in accounts?
Slowly, and from a particular kind of client. Somebody who reads a transmission guide and then rings you is often carrying a whole family's portfolio. It will not match an app's advertising for volume, and it is not meant to.
Can we publish market commentary?
That depends on the registration you hold and the disclosures attached, and your compliance officer decides it. Even where it is allowed, it dates within a day and attracts tip seekers. Process writing keeps working for years.
Do stock broker advertisements need exchange approval?
Exchange rules on advertising by members can require approval before an advertisement is published, and your compliance officer knows the current process. We draft with those rules in mind and build the approval time into the schedule.
Can we promote stock tips or trading calls to attract clients?
No. Specific recommendations need the right SEBI registration and disclosures, and tip-led marketing attracts the complaints regulators watch for. We build campaigns on service, education and help with real problems.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
