Stock brokers · Digital marketing

Plan the year around compliance review, not around posting dates.

Digital marketing for a broking firm is the plan across search, advertising, content and branches, built so everything published has cleared your compliance officer. GullySales sets that plan, writes the approval step into the calendar, and reports on accounts opened and activated rather than on reach.

A steam traction engine belted across a stackyard to a wooden threshing machine: the long flat belt taut between the flywheel and the drive pulley, the flywheel spinning, a straw elevator raking up off the far end, a full sack hanging on the sack spout, a corn stack half taken down behind and a water cart standing by

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For stock brokers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The campaign that dies at compliance was planned wrong

A team drafts a month of material, the compliance officer finds a claim the exchange would not allow, and the whole idea is abandoned. Review has to be a step in the plan with days against it.

  • Branches publish whether you plan for it or not

Every outlet prints its own leaflet and posts its own message. A plan covering only head office leaves the firm answerable for whatever an authorised person wrote in another town.

  • Two clients sit at opposite ends of this

The family holding physical certificates, and the young trader comparing brokerage on a phone. One campaign written for both reaches neither.

  • Reach is the wrong number in a regulated business

Impressions cost nothing and prove nothing here. The figures that matter are accounts funded, accounts activated and grievances avoided.

What we do

What we deliver for stock brokers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A twelve-month plan with review time inside it

What gets published in which month, with the compliance officer's days counted between draft and publication.

Result: The dates the team is given are dates that hold.

  2. The effort split, written down and revisited

How much goes to search, advertising, branch profiles, investor education and the authorised person network, looked at again each month.

Result: Effort moves on evidence rather than on whoever asks loudest.

  3. A baseline of accounts and activity

Accounts opened, funded, activated and dormant, by branch and by source, recorded before anything changes.

Result: Later months can be compared against something real.

  4. Segments defined by what the client came for

Separate plans for families with physical holdings, first-time investors, active traders and larger portfolios, because they arrive for different reasons.

Result: Each group gets material written for it.

  5. One approved library everybody draws from

A single place holding current approved wording, disclosures and templates for head office, branches and authorised persons.

Result: Nobody writes a claim from scratch.

  6. A monthly report across the branches

Accounts opened and activated, enquiry sources, reply times and branch figures, sent against the opening baseline.

Result: The weak branch shows up before the year ends.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these stock brokers.

  • Full-service regional stock broking firms
  • Authorised persons attached to a larger broker
  • Depository participants offering demat services
  • Commodity and currency derivatives brokers
  • Brokers focused on HNI and family portfolios
  • Brokers serving traders in wholesale and commodity markets
  • Firms combining broking with mutual fund distribution
  • Brokers with branch networks in smaller towns

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for stock brokers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at account opening, activation and dormancy numbers, branch and authorised person activity, and how content moves through compliance.

  2. 2

    Fix activation

A first-weeks routine for new accounts and a plan for the dormant book, so accounts opened become accounts used.

  3. 3

    Build the approved kit

Education content and templates written with compliance review built in, for head office, branches and authorised persons.

  4. 4

    Bring investors in

Local search for each branch, referral routines with CAs and lawyers, and campaigns for real problems such as transmission.

  5. 5

    Keep families together

Consolidation conversations and steady service, so the relationship passes to the next generation.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We are small and have one compliance officer. Is this realistic?
Yes, if the volume is planned around them. Fewer pieces, further apart, with review dates fixed in advance. A firm publishing six good things a year beats one that drafts thirty and publishes four.
What should we stop doing?
Forwarding research through informal WhatsApp groups, for a start, because nobody can show who received what. Move it to a recorded distribution agreed with your compliance team, and the marketing gets easier as well as safer.
Do stock broker advertisements need exchange approval?
Exchange rules on advertising by members can require approval before an advertisement is published, and your compliance officer knows the current process. We draft with those rules in mind and build the approval time into the schedule.
Can we promote stock tips or trading calls to attract clients?
No. Specific recommendations need the right SEBI registration and disclosures, and tip-led marketing attracts the complaints regulators watch for. We build campaigns on service, education and help with real problems.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
