Stock brokers · Lead generation

The account that opens and never trades was never a lead.

Lead generation for a broking firm is the enquiry that becomes a funded, active account rather than a KYC file in the back office. GullySales builds the routes an investor arrives by, the questions that qualify them, and the first-weeks routine that gets a new account used.

A sorting hopper in a depot yard: a wide gold hopper on a steel frame, its throat splitting into three chutes that feed three floor bins, one heaped past its own spout, one half caught, one barely started

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For stock brokers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • One referral from a CA beats twenty web forms

A chartered accountant sending a client with capital gains records or physical shares has already done the trust work. Building that relationship is a sales job, not a campaign.

  • A caller asking for tips should be turned away early

Better to lose that enquiry on the first call than to open an account that ends in a grievance. The qualifying question belongs at the start, not after KYC.

  • Most enquiries arrive with a document problem

A death certificate and a share certificate, a transmission form, an unclaimed dividend. Whoever answers that clearly tends to get the whole family's portfolio.

  • The walk-in is the strongest lead you will get

Somebody who drives to a branch has already decided against an app. Your counter should know that and treat the visit accordingly.

What we do

What we deliver for stock brokers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One record for every enquiry, whichever door it came through

Walk-ins, calls, web forms, CA referrals and authorised person introductions logged in the same place, with the reason for contact written down.

Result: The firm can see where its clients actually come from.

  2. Qualifying questions agreed with compliance

A short set of questions at first contact covering what the investor wants, their experience and whether the firm suits them, with the tip seeker declined politely.

Result: Wrong-fit accounts stop being opened.

  3. KYC chased through to a funded account

A follow-up routine across the days after an application covering documents, funding and the first login, rather than leaving it with the back office.

Result: Applications finish instead of expiring.

  4. A first-weeks routine for every new client

Calls and messages over the opening weeks covering the platform, the risk disclosures and who to ring when an order fails.

Result: Fewer new accounts go quiet before they are used.

  5. A referral arrangement with CAs and estate lawyers

A named list of professionals whose clients hit capital gains, transmission and succession, with the material and a routine for staying in touch.

Result: Warm introductions keep arriving without media spend.

  6. Reporting from enquiry to first order

Enquiries by source, applications started, accounts funded and first orders placed, reported each month against the opening figures.

Result: You see which source brings clients who actually trade.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these stock brokers.

  • Full-service regional stock broking firms
  • Authorised persons attached to a larger broker
  • Depository participants offering demat services
  • Commodity and currency derivatives brokers
  • Brokers focused on HNI and family portfolios
  • Brokers serving traders in wholesale and commodity markets
  • Firms combining broking with mutual fund distribution
  • Brokers with branch networks in smaller towns

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for stock brokers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at account opening, activation and dormancy numbers, branch and authorised person activity, and how content moves through compliance.

  2. 2

    Fix activation

A first-weeks routine for new accounts and a plan for the dormant book, so accounts opened become accounts used.

  3. 3

    Build the approved kit

Education content and templates written with compliance review built in, for head office, branches and authorised persons.

  4. 4

    Bring investors in

Local search for each branch, referral routines with CAs and lawyers, and campaigns for real problems such as transmission.

  5. 5

    Keep families together

Consolidation conversations and steady service, so the relationship passes to the next generation.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Why do so many of our accounts open and then go dormant?
Usually because nobody called after the login details went out. The first order is the hardest one a client ever places, and most people quietly postpone it. Two or three calls in the opening weeks change that more than any campaign.
Should authorised persons find their own clients?
They will anyway, and they know their towns better than head office does. What they should not do is write their own claims. Give them approved material and one place to log an enquiry, and the client belongs to the firm as well as to them.
Do stock broker advertisements need exchange approval?
Exchange rules on advertising by members can require approval before an advertisement is published, and your compliance officer knows the current process. We draft with those rules in mind and build the approval time into the schedule.
Can we promote stock tips or trading calls to attract clients?
No. Specific recommendations need the right SEBI registration and disclosures, and tip-led marketing attracts the complaints regulators watch for. We build campaigns on service, education and help with real problems.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
