E-commerce software providers · Digital marketing

Plan search, partners, content and follow-up as one route from search to paid plan.

Digital marketing for an e-commerce software provider joins search, content, partners, ads and messaging into one route from a seller's first question to a paid plan. GullySales decides where effort goes first, based on where your paying stores actually came from.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For E-commerce software providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Channels run separately and count separately”

Search brings signups, agencies bring stores and ads bring demo requests, each reported in a different place. Without one view, the team cannot tell which channel brings stores that stay, so budget follows noise.

  • “Paid ads on platform names are costly and narrow”

Bidding on a rival's name or on broad store-builder words burn budget on visitors who compare ten tabs. Ads on a specific Indian selling problem send fewer people who are more ready. Test small before scaling.

  • “Partner marketing is digital marketing too”

A co-marketed session with a courier aggregator or payment gateway reaches sellers who have no store yet. Planning it alongside search and content means the landing page, tracking and follow-up are in place when the audience arrives.

  • “Brand searches show how well the rest works”

Sellers who hear of you from an agency or a community then search your name. If the result page shows an old pricing page or unanswered reviews, the earlier effort leaks. The branded results deserve attention.

What we do

What we deliver for E-commerce software providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel review from paid-store data

Where each paying store first met you, and how long it stayed.

Result: A ranked list of channels by stores that reached a first order.

  2. A single plan across channels

Search, content, partner, ads and messaging set against one goal and one owner each.

Result: One page shows what is being done, by whom and why.

  3. Test ads on specific selling problems

Small campaigns around COD, GST or marketplace sync with their own landing pages.

Result: Each test ends with a note on what it taught.

  4. Tracking from first visit to paid plan

Tagged links and a shared sheet or dashboard that follow a store through the stages.

Result: Marketing and sales read the same figures.

  5. A review of branded search results

What appears when someone searches your name, and fixes for what misleads.

Result: The first page of results for your name is accurate.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a small provider begin?
With the channel that already brings paying stores, whichever that is. Add one new channel at a time and learn from it before adding another. Spreading thin makes everything hard to read.
What budget do we need?
It depends on how many channels you run and how your sales cycle works. We do not quote a figure without seeing your signup and conversion data, and we avoid recommending spend we cannot link to a result.
Do we need an in-house marketer?
Someone on your side should own the plan and approve what goes out. We do the planning and production, and the in-house person holds knowledge of the product and decides priorities.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
