E-commerce software providers · WhatsApp marketing

Meet the founder who runs the whole shop on WhatsApp where they already work.

WhatsApp marketing for an e-commerce software provider means using the channel Indian sellers already take orders on to move trials, demos and partner conversations forward. GullySales plans which messages go there, who sends them, and how consent is handled.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For E-commerce software providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The seller's own day runs on WhatsApp”

A small brand receives orders, payment screenshots and customer queries there. A founder who sees a message from your team in the same place is more likely to answer than to open another email from a software company.

  • “Cold bulk messages burn the number”

Sending unrequested promotions to a bought list breaks the platform's rules and annoys the seller. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging and send to people who have asked or who have a trial with you.

  • “Agencies prefer a quick message to a long email”

A freelancer who sets up stores handles several clients and replies to a short note with a question. A partner group or broadcast list, joined by choice, keeps them informed of new integrations and offers.

  • “The conversation needs a record”

A salesperson answering from a personal phone leaves no history when they move on. Messages about trials should be logged against the store record so the next person can see what was promised.

What we do

What we deliver for E-commerce software providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A consent and opt-in plan

Where and how a seller agrees to receive WhatsApp messages, recorded against their account.

Result: Every contact has a recorded reason for being messaged.

  2. Templates for trial stages

Approved message templates for welcome, import help and first-order nudges.

Result: Templates are ready for each trial stage and written in plain words.

  3. A shared inbox setup

A business WhatsApp number used by named team members, with conversations linked to the CRM.

Result: Any team member can see what was said to a seller.

  4. An agency broadcast list

An opt-in list for partners with updates on integrations and offers.

Result: Partners hear of changes in one place they chose to join.

  5. Click-to-chat entry points

Buttons on key pages that open a conversation with the sales team.

Result: A seller on a pricing page can ask a question without a form.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
For more than a handful of conversations, the API through a business solution provider is usual, because it allows templates and a shared inbox. The right choice depends on your volume, and costs are set by the provider.
Can we message sellers who downloaded a guide?
Only if they agreed to be contacted on WhatsApp. Ask for that permission clearly where they leave their number, and keep a record. Check the platform's current rules before any campaign.
Who should answer the messages?
A person who knows the product, not a script. We can write the first replies and handover rules, and your team holds the conversation from there.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
