Telecom and broadband providers · Sales process

Move a household from enquiry to a working connection without losing them on the way.

A sales process for a broadband provider is the sequence from the first enquiry to a working connection, with a person and a record at each step. GullySales writes the steps in the language of your trade, from feasibility to installation, and trains the team to follow them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What sales process means

A sales process is the fixed sequence of steps, such as enquiry, site visit, quote and order, that every deal is expected to pass through in the same order. GullySales writes this sequence down for your business and checks that every salesperson actually follows it.

For telecom and broadband providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Feasibility is checked after the quotation”

The buyer is quoted a plan, then told his building cannot be served.

  • “Documents are collected at the last minute”

A customer is ready to pay and the process stops for a missing address proof.

  • “The first week is not watched”

The technician leaves, and nobody calls to check if the connection works.

What we do

What we deliver for telecom and broadband providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A written sale from enquiry to install

Each step named, with the owner and the record to be kept.

Result: Everyone sells the same way.

  2. A feasibility rule

Who checks, how they check and when the buyer hears back.

Result: Buyers get an answer before a quote.

  3. A document checklist

The identity and address documents needed, in a simple form.

Result: No one waits for a missing paper.

  4. An installation booking routine

A confirmed slot, a reminder and a call after installation.

Result: Fewer missed visits and unhappy first days.

  5. Objection answers

Short replies on price, a neighbour's complaint and a rival's offer.

Result: The team handles comparison calmly.

  6. Win and loss notes

A reason recorded for every connection won and every one lost.

Result: You learn why buyers choose or leave.

How the result is measured

  • Deals following the process
  • Time spent at each step
  • Drop-off rate by step

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Steps of a sale

These are the steps from enquiry to a live connection, in the way the trade says them.

Enquiry
Take the name, address with flat and whether it is for home or office. Note the source and the need, and say when the feasibility answer will come.
Feasibility
Check the address against your coverage and the nearest box or pole. Record the result. If it is not feasible, tell the buyer plainly and note the area.
Plan and quotation
Recommend a plan on use, not on speed, and state the installation terms and any deposit. Record the plan and what the customer asked about.
Documents and booking
Collect the documents, confirm the payment and fix an installation slot. Record who confirmed and the date.
Installation and handover
Install, test and show the customer how to check the connection and report a fault. Record the serial numbers and the customer's confirmation.
First-week check
Call to check the connection and ask for a review if he is happy. Record any issue, and pass it to support the same day.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the sales process work runs

  1. 1

    Study current deal flow

We trace how deals actually move today, comparing across reps and outcomes.

  2. 2

    Define the stages

Clear stages and criteria are designed to match how deals genuinely progress and close.

  3. 3

    Configure the CRM

The process is built into your CRM so it is enforced structurally, not just documented.

  4. 4

    Train the team

Reps are trained on the new process and why each stage exists.

  5. 5

    Review adoption

We check after rollout whether the process is being followed and adjust where it is not.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Who does which step?
Sales owns enquiry, plan and documents. The technical team owns feasibility and installation, and support owns the first-week check. Write the handoffs down, so a buyer is not left between teams.
When should we quote the price?
After feasibility. A quote for an address you cannot serve wastes the buyer's time and your credibility. Give the plan range on the page and the firm terms once the address is confirmed.
What do we do with a buyer who wants the lowest price?
Ask what he is comparing and set out what each plan includes, such as installation, router and support. If he still chooses the cheaper offer, thank him and keep his details. Do not cut terms you cannot honour.
Is there a step others skip?
The first-week call. It costs a few minutes and catches a fault before the customer posts about it. Many providers skip it because the installation is closed in the system.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
