Website design and development companies · Pay per click advertising

Pay for the owner with a budget, not the one pricing a template.

PPC for a web company means buying the searches an owner makes once they are ready to pay, such as an e-commerce developer or a website redesign in their city. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ads and checks spend against the projects signed.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For website design and development companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The ten thousand rupee shopper clicks too”

A search for cheap website design costs what a real enquiry costs, so those words go before the budget does.

  • “Students outnumber buyers on your keywords”

Web design course, HTML template and WordPress internship searches spend a small daily budget before lunch.

  • “A form asking page count saves the call”

Ask the platform, the page count, who supplies the text and the go-live date, and a price band goes out first.

What we do

What we deliver for website design and development companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Campaigns split by the kind of build

One campaign for e-commerce, one for redesigns, one for catalogue sites, each with its own budget and its own wording.

Result: A cheap enquiry type cannot eat the money meant for a paid project.

  2. Ad text carrying a starting price

Ads that name the figure your work begins at, so a click comes from someone who has that much set aside.

Result: Fewer calls that end at the first number.

  3. A landing page per build with a scoping form

A page matching the ad, ending in a form asking the platform, the page count, who supplies photographs and the date it must be live.

Result: The enquiry arrives with enough in it to quote from.

  4. Negative keywords against courses and templates

Blocks on free, template, clone, tutorial, course and internship, reviewed against what people actually typed to reach you.

Result: Your budget stops paying for people who will never buy a site.

  5. Remarketing to the people who read a case page

Ads shown again to visitors who opened a case page or your pricing page and left without writing, capped so nobody is followed for a month.

Result: The owner comparing three studios sees you again while deciding.

  6. Spend traced to signed projects

Cost per enquiry and cost per signed project reported by campaign, against the figures written down before the ads started.

Result: You can switch off the campaign that only ever produced quotes.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

The searches worth paying for as a web design company, and the ones to keep out.

Build searches, such as Shopify store developer in Bengaluru
Bid. A shop owner naming the platform and the city is ready to hire. Group by platform, WordPress, Shopify and custom, and show one live site for each, with the owner's permission.
Redesign searches, such as website redesign for clinic
Bid. These owners already have a site that disappoints them. Show a before and after of one live site, and say what you change first, such as speed, mobile layout or the enquiry form.
Maintenance and hosting searches, such as website maintenance company
Bid only if you want a retainer. The buyer is looking for someone to fix and update, so say what a maintenance plan covers and what is billed separately.
Cheap and template searches, such as free website builder
Block, with clone, template, WordPress theme and website for a few thousand rupees. These buyers are choosing on price, and any quote you send will lose the comparison.
Where the click lands
Send the click to a page for that kind of build, showing a finished site and the steps of the job. The form should ask the platform, the number of pages and the date the site must go live.
Counting a real enquiry
Count a form with a platform and a go-live date, or a call that books a scoping conversation. Mark which became a signed project, and see whether redesigns or new builds have produced more of them.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the pay per click advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the total budget

We agree the full paid advertising budget available across all platforms, rather than planning each one separately.

  2. 2

    Audit current platform performance

We compare existing campaigns on a shared basis to see where the budget currently performs best and worst.

  3. 3

    Build the cross-platform plan

Campaigns are structured across platforms with a shared measurement standard from the outset.

  4. 4

    Implement and monitor

Campaigns run with budget allocated dynamically based on real-time performance.

  5. 5

    Measure and reallocate

We report performance and shift budget toward what is working, within agreed limits.

Why us

Why a studio brings us in for its own pipeline.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

We work the part after the enquiry as well: the reply, the follow-up, the proposal and the CRM your own pipeline runs on.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What should a small studio spend to test this?
Enough to run two site types for a month in one city. We put a figure against the projects you need once we have spoken to you.
Are gig platform bids better than Google ads?
They bring volume at a price set by developers worldwide. Google brings owners who want somebody local, and those quotes hold margin.
Should we bid on website developer near me even if we work remotely?
Yes, but set the advert to say you work with clients across the country. Local searchers sometimes prefer to meet, so add a call or video meeting option. Do not hide that you are remote.
Should we advertise on Google or on Meta to find small business owners?
Start with Google search, where an owner types what they need now. Meta can reach owners who have not yet thought of a site. It costs more effort to qualify, so try it after search brings enquiries.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
