Waterproofing and roofing contractors · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the stain on the ceiling, not for the word waterproofing.

Search engine optimisation for a waterproofing or roofing contractor means being found for the leak somebody is staring at: a bathroom ceiling, a basement wall, a rusted sheet joint. GullySales writes a page per problem and per locality, and clears what keeps them out of results.

A street junction fingerpost: several lettered direction arms on one post, the top arm freshly painted and pointing down your street while the others have weathered, with the paint tin and brush still at its foot

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For waterproofing and roofing contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • People search the symptom, never the treatment

Nobody types polyurethane membrane. They type water coming from the bathroom ceiling of the flat below, and the page using those words gets the call.

  • Rain decides your search traffic within a fortnight

Searches triple in the first heavy week. Pages written in February are ranking by June, and pages written in July are not.

  • Old localities leak differently from new ones

A page for Basavanagudi talks about Mangalore tiles and thirty-year slabs. A page for a new layout talks about podium parking and shrinkage cracks.

What we do

What we deliver for waterproofing and roofing contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each leak people actually describe

Terrace cracks, seepage into the flat below, basement dampness, damp on a shared wall, and rusted sheet joints in a shed.

Result: The owner searching her exact problem lands on it.

  2. Locality pages written from the building stock

The age of the houses, the roof type and the usual failure in each area you work, instead of one paragraph with the name swapped.

Result: A search naming a locality opens a page about it.

  3. A system comparison page that names the trade-offs

Coating against membrane against injection, with coats, expected life, what each needs from the surface, and when the cheap one is genuinely enough.

Result: You win the comparison instead of losing it on price.

  4. Proof pages built from jobs you did years ago

Terraces revisited after three or four monsoons, photographed with the owner's permission and dated, arranged by building type.

Result: A stranger can see that your work held.

  5. The site made fast on a phone in bad signal

Compressed photographs, a call button that works, and the broken links and stray pages left behind by whoever built the site before.

Result: A wet-season visitor gets through to the number.

  6. Monthly reporting by problem page

Position, traffic and inspections booked for each problem and locality page, measured from the baseline recorded before work began.

Result: You can see which page filled the diary.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for waterproofing and roofing contractors

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your enquiries month by month, how inspections turn into jobs, and where committees and builders stand in your work.

  2. 2

    Fix the inspection and quote

A standard inspection report, a system comparison sheet and a follow-up routine for every quotation, especially committee ones.

  3. 3

    Build the proof that lasts

Return visits to old jobs, before-and-after pages by building type and a clear warranty explanation.

  4. 4

    Move demand before the rains

Pre-monsoon and summer campaigns for homeowners and committees, and builder and architect outreach for new construction.

  5. 5

    Stay with the building

A yearly pre-monsoon check reminder to every past customer and a warranty visit that often leads to the next job.

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How long before search starts filling the inspection diary?
Three to six months for the problem pages, which means starting in the dry season to be paid in the wet one. The Business Profile and reviews move sooner. We report inspections traced to search against the baseline taken at the audit.
Should we publish our rate per square foot?
Publish a range with what changes it: the system, the number of coats, the state of the surface and the warranty period. A bare figure invites the comparison you always lose. A range with reasons is the one that survives a committee meeting.
How do we get customers to book waterproofing before the monsoon?
Reach them before they are worried. A free terrace inspection offered in February, with photographs of what a July leak did to a ceiling, brings many jobs forward. Past customers due a check are the easiest to book first.
Should we mention the chemical brand we use?
Yes, when you are an approved applicator or use a named system. Homeowners and committees ask about it, and a known brand backing the warranty is often what separates your quote from a cheaper one.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
