Website design and development companies · Email marketing

Reach the past client before their site turns four.

Email marketing for a web company is the note that reaches a past client before their site is old, and the one that keeps an agency thinking of you for the next build. GullySales builds the list from your project records and times each send to a renewal.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For website design and development companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Your best list is the invoice book

Every business you have built for knows your work already, and every one of those sites ages by the month.

  • Renewal dates decide the send

A hosting renewal is the one week in the year an owner thinks about their website, so that is when the mail lands.

  • Agencies want a reminder, not a newsletter

A note carrying the two builds you just finished keeps you on an agency's list for the next one.

What we do

What we deliver for website design and development companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list built from your project records

Every client you have built for, with the platform, the launch year, the renewal month and who signed off, cleaned of people who have moved on.

Result: A send reaches owners rather than dead addresses.

  2. A renewal note per client

A short mail before each hosting or domain renewal, setting out what is due, what it covers and the one thing you would improve this year.

Result: Renewals stop being an awkward invoice out of nowhere.

  3. A platform update warning

A note to clients running a version going out of support, explaining the risk in plain words and what the update would cost.

Result: Security work is sold before a site is broken into.

  4. A three-year note offering a refresh

A mail to every client whose site turns three, with a screenshot of how it now looks on a current phone and a price band for the work.

Result: The redesign comes to you rather than to a stranger.

  5. A quarterly note to agency partners

Two recent builds, your current turnaround and the capacity you have free, sent to the agencies and consultants who pass work to you.

Result: You are remembered on the day their client asks.

  6. A line when a client's competitor launches

A one-paragraph mail to an owner when a business in their trade puts up a new site, naming what it does that theirs does not.

Result: The redesign conversation starts before they notice on their own.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for website design and development companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In a free audit we look at where your projects come from, your average project value, how often scope grew, and how many clients stayed on after launch.

  2. 2

    Choose the focus

A decision on which site types and industries to lead with, written into your website and proposals.

  3. 3

    Fix the scoping

A scoping call, a tiered proposal, a content plan and a change request note used on every project.

  4. 4

    Fill the pipeline

Case pages, partner referrals and campaigns aimed at the site types you chose.

  5. 5

    Keep the client

Maintenance, hosting and upgrade offers so each site stays your account.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why a studio brings us in for its own pipeline.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

We work the part after the enquiry as well: the reply, the follow-up, the proposal and the CRM your own pipeline runs on.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What do we send that actually gets opened?
A renewal date, a security warning for their platform, or one change worth making to their site. A studio newsletter gets deleted.
How often should we mail past clients?
Tie it to their dates rather than a schedule. A renewal month, a platform update and the three-year mark are enough.
How do we compete with cheap template websites?
Do not try to match the price. Ask what the site must do, such as bring dealer enquiries or load fast on a 4G phone. Then show which of those jobs a ₹10,000 template will not handle.
Who should own the domain and hosting?
The client, in their own name, with you managing it under a maintenance contract. It builds trust at the proposal stage and removes a common reason clients hesitate.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
