Website design and development companies · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the platform and the site type an owner asks for.

SEO for a web company means appearing when an owner searches for what they want built, such as a Shopify store or a catalogue site for a factory. GullySales builds a page for each build you sell and clears the faults holding your own site back.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For website design and development companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Your own site is the sample

A prospect opens it to decide whether you can build theirs, so a slow, dated page loses the enquiry.

  • Owners search the platform

Someone who has decided on Shopify types Shopify, and a page headed web design and development gives that search nothing.

  • A redesign search carries a deadline

An owner typing website redesign cost already finds the current site embarrassing, and will ring three studios this week.

What we do

What we deliver for website design and development companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each platform you build on

Separate pages for Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress and custom builds, written in the words an owner types rather than the words a developer uses.

Result: The owner who has already picked a platform lands on you.

  2. A page for each trade you have built for

One page on catalogue sites for manufacturers, one on booking sites for clinics, one on stores for small consumer brands, each carrying the builds behind it.

Result: A prospect sees a site made for a business like theirs.

  3. A redesign page that answers the cost question

A page for owners searching what a redesign costs, setting out what moves the figure: page count, integrations, photography and who writes the text.

Result: A redesign enquiry arrives with a budget already in mind.

  4. Case pages built to be found, not only to be shown

Each project written up with the problem, the platform, what was built and what the owner said after launch, under headings a search engine can read.

Result: Your portfolio starts bringing enquiries of its own.

  5. Speed and link faults cleared on your own site

Load speed, mobile layout, broken links and the stray pages left behind by your last redesign, fixed on the site prospects judge your work by.

Result: Nobody decides against you on your own page speed.

  6. Search reporting page by page

Position, visits and enquiries for each platform and trade page, set against the baseline recorded at the free audit.

Result: You know which page brought the project.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for website design and development companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In a free audit we look at where your projects come from, your average project value, how often scope grew, and how many clients stayed on after launch.

  2. 2

    Choose the focus

A decision on which site types and industries to lead with, written into your website and proposals.

  3. 3

    Fix the scoping

A scoping call, a tiered proposal, a content plan and a change request note used on every project.

  4. 4

    Fill the pipeline

Case pages, partner referrals and campaigns aimed at the site types you chose.

  5. 5

    Keep the client

Maintenance, hosting and upgrade offers so each site stays your account.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why a studio brings us in for its own pipeline.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

We work the part after the enquiry as well: the reply, the follow-up, the proposal and the CRM your own pipeline runs on.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We rank for our city. Why are the enquiries so poor?
City terms bring price shoppers. A page built on the platform and the trade brings an owner who knows what they want.
Can we publish sites we built white label?
Only with written permission. Where the agency says no, describe the platform, the build and the result, and leave the name out.
How do we compete with cheap template websites?
Do not try to match the price. Ask what the site must do, such as bring dealer enquiries or load fast on a 4G phone. Then show which of those jobs a ₹10,000 template will not handle.
Who should own the domain and hosting?
The client, in their own name, with you managing it under a maintenance contract. It builds trust at the proposal stage and removes a common reason clients hesitate.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
