Spas · Sales management

See which receptionist is forgetting to offer the package upsell.

Sales management for a spa means tracking every enquiry and walk-in to an outcome. You can then see which staff member is converting a single massage into a package, and which is letting customers leave without the offer. GullySales sets that record up beside your diary and goes through the package numbers with you.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What sales management means

Sales management is the ongoing work of reviewing a sales team's pipeline, calls and targets, and stepping in on deals that are stuck. GullySales sets the review rhythm and the reports a sales manager needs to run this without relying on gut feel.

For spas

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A booking diary is not an enquiry record”

A diary shows who came in, not who asked about a couple package and was never followed up. A separate record is needed to see where package upsells are being missed.

  • “Staff performance beyond just filling the chair”

A therapist skilled at the massage itself may never mention the monthly package, and the record shows exactly which staff member is converting first visits into repeat customers.

  • “Seasonal booking patterns guide staffing”

Knowing how enquiries rise before festival season or wedding season helps decide when to add a therapist shift, rather than guessing from memory each year.

What we do

What we deliver for spas.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Enquiry and outcome record separate from the diary

A record of every enquiry and its outcome, including ones that never turned into a booking, alongside your existing diary.

Result: A lost enquiry is visible instead of simply disappearing.

  2. Staff-level package conversion tracking

A count of first visits and package upsells by staff member, drawn from the enquiry record.

Result: The owner can see which staff member is converting first visits.

  3. Seasonal enquiry pattern review

A review of how enquiries rise before festival and wedding season, compared year on year from your records.

Result: Staffing decisions are based on a known pattern, not a guess.

  4. Numbers meeting format

A short, fixed review of enquiries, bookings and package sign-ups, run by whoever manages the front desk.

Result: The week's numbers get reviewed instead of relying on how busy it felt.

  5. Management report

A report against your baseline covering enquiries, conversions and staff-level performance for the month.

Result: The owner has one clear document instead of piecing numbers together.

How the result is measured

  • Target achievement
  • Pipeline coverage
  • Stuck deals resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What the spa manager reviews

Read these six things in the diary and enquiry record before the staff huddle.

Enquiries by treatment
Check that each WhatsApp, Instagram and call enquiry notes the treatment, such as Swedish, deep tissue, Abhyanga, a couple massage or a facial. A record that says only massage cannot tell you what customers ask for.
Package offered after a first visit
Read first-visit bills against the record of a package being offered, by staff member. When someone rarely offers one, listen to what they say at checkout.
Packages with sessions unused
List customers with sessions left on a package and no booking. Call to offer a slot with their usual therapist before the package lapses.
Corporate wellness enquiries
Check offices and hotels that asked about wellness days or chair massage, with the HR contact and the stage. A proposal with no reply needs a call with a sample day plan.
Evening enquiries answered next morning
Count messages after closing that got a reply only the next morning. If many are for the next day's slots, set an auto-reply with the times still open.
Cancellations by slot and therapist
Read cancellations by time slot and therapist. Weekday afternoon slots freed by a cancellation are the ones to offer to customers with unused packages.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the sales management work runs

  1. 1

    Assess current management practice

We look at what cadence, if any, currently exists and where it breaks down.

  2. 2

    Set the rhythm

The touchpoints are agreed and scheduled in writing before the first review.

  3. 3

    Run or coach the cadence

We either run the reviews and one-on-ones directly, or coach your manager to run them.

  4. 4

    Address performance directly

Issues are raised as they appear, not left until a review period.

  5. 5

    Report to the owner

A summary keeps ownership informed without needing to sit in every review.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need special software for this?
A shared spreadsheet works for a single branch spa; a simple CRM helps once you have more than one branch or a large therapist team.
How often should we review the numbers?
Monthly in general, and more often around festival and wedding season when enquiry volume changes quickly.
Should therapists join the numbers meeting?
Yes, briefly. Therapists hear what a customer wants before checkout, and many package decisions start on the table, not at the counter. Go through package offers and unused sessions by therapist, then let them return to their rooms before the first booking.
How do I set a package target without making the staff pushy?
Set the target on offers made after a first visit, not on packages sold. An offer explained calmly at checkout is the part staff control. Listen for complaints about pressure, and if any come, change the wording before raising the target.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
