Spas · Sales process

Turn a first massage booking into a signed monthly package within one visit.

A sales process for a spa is the fixed set of steps from an enquiry to a confirmed booking and, ideally, a package sale. The outcome does not depend on which receptionist happens to answer. GullySales writes this process with your front desk and gives you the record to see where bookings drop out.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What sales process means

A sales process is the fixed sequence of steps, such as enquiry, site visit, quote and order, that every deal is expected to pass through in the same order. GullySales writes this sequence down for your business and checks that every salesperson actually follows it.

For spas

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The enquiry usually starts with price, and the answer should include the package”

A caller asking what a deep-tissue massage costs should hear both the single-session price and the saving on a four-session package, rather than only the number they asked for.

  • “The package pitch has a natural moment”

The end of a good first treatment, while the customer is still relaxed and pleased, is the point to mention a monthly package. A follow-up call days later has already lost the moment.

  • “No-shows need a same-day reschedule step”

A reminder the evening before and a message an hour before a booking come first. A same-day reschedule call for anyone who misses protects therapist time that cannot be resold once the slot has passed.

What we do

What we deliver for spas.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Enquiry script naming the package alongside the price

A short script so a caller asking a single-session price also hears the saving on a package, every time.

Result: Every price enquiry becomes a chance to mention the package.

  2. Package pitch moment fixed at checkout

A defined point, right after a good first treatment, where staff are expected to mention a monthly package.

Result: The pitch happens while the customer is still relaxed and pleased.

  3. Reminder and same-day reschedule steps

A message the evening before, a reminder an hour before, and a same-day reschedule call for anyone who misses.

Result: A missed slot gets a chance to be rebooked instead of sitting empty.

  4. Cold enquiry follow-up step with a reason logged

A step requiring a reason, such as price or timing, to be logged against any enquiry that goes cold.

Result: The real reason bookings are lost becomes visible and fixable.

  5. Written checklist for enquiry, booking and pitch

A short, printed checklist covering the enquiry, the booking and the package pitch, for the front desk to follow.

Result: A receptionist in her first week runs the same booking call as your most experienced one.

How the result is measured

  • Deals following the process
  • Time spent at each step
  • Drop-off rate by step

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Steps of a sale

Take a guest from the first WhatsApp message to the next booked visit in the same order every time.

Enquiry and preferences
Ask the treatment, the preferred therapist gender, any injury, pregnancy or allergy, and the time slot. Record it on the guest card before confirming the booking.
Consultation form at arrival
Have the guest fill in the health form and choose the oil and pressure. Note anything the therapist must avoid, such as a recent surgery or high blood pressure.
Room and therapist
Introduce the therapist by name and walk the guest to a ready room. Record which therapist did the treatment, so a repeat guest can ask for the same person.
Checkout and feedback
At the counter, with tea or water, ask about the pressure and the room. Note any complaint, such as noise or room temperature, against the guest card.
Package paperwork
If the guest buys a package, write the sessions, validity, whether it can be shared and the treatments covered on the receipt. Update the balance of sessions after each visit.
Rebooking
Offer the next slot before the guest leaves, with the therapist they liked. Note the booking made or the reason they declined.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the sales process work runs

  1. 1

    Study current deal flow

We trace how deals actually move today, comparing across reps and outcomes.

  2. 2

    Define the stages

Clear stages and criteria are designed to match how deals genuinely progress and close.

  3. 3

    Configure the CRM

The process is built into your CRM so it is enforced structurally, not just documented.

  4. 4

    Train the team

Reps are trained on the new process and why each stage exists.

  5. 5

    Review adoption

We check after rollout whether the process is being followed and adjust where it is not.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can our current staff run this without hiring?
Yes, when the process is written as a short checklist for enquiry, booking and the package pitch, and staff are trained to follow it consistently.
What happens to enquiries that go cold?
They stay in the record with a reason noted, so you can see whether price, timing or a missed follow-up caused the drop-off, and fix that specifically.
A guest asks only for the cheapest massage. How should the front desk handle it?
Give the price, then ask what they want from the visit: relaxation, muscle pain or a short break. Suggest the treatment that fits, and keep the cheapest option open without pushing. Note the treatment chosen and whether price was the only question, since it shows who to send weekday offers to.
Should therapists sell packages, or only the front desk?
Let the therapist mention what would help next time, and the front desk explain the package price and terms. A therapist talking money during or straight after a treatment can feel like pressure. Record who suggested the package, so the front desk knows what the guest was told.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
