LinkedIn influencer marketing · Marketing

You are paying for a reputation the creator spent years building.

Influencer and creator marketing covers the broad programme. LinkedIn advertising buys attention by job title, from the platform. This is a third thing: paying a person whose name already carries weight with the people you sell to.

In one paragraph

LinkedIn influencer marketing pays a working professional with an audience to write about your product in their own words, on their own profile. GullySales checks who actually reads them, negotiates the deliverable and the usage rights together, and measures it on the job titles that turn up rather than on likes.

These creators are rarely full-time creators. A plant head who writes about maintenance, a CA who explains every GST change, a founder two sizes bigger than you who posts each Tuesday. Most have no media kit and no agency, so the deal happens in the messages and the price is what lending their name is worth to them.

What you are buying is not reach. In business-to-business (B2B) selling five or six people decide, and this works when the purchase manager, the plant head and the consultant they trust all read the same person. A small number of readers, and that is the point.

The problem

Does this sound like your business?

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • The post got a thousand likes and no enquiries

Likes come from people doing the same job as the creator. Whether one purchase head read it is a different question, and it is the only one that matters.

  • We wrote the copy and they posted it

Their audience can tell. The post reads like a brochure under somebody else's photograph, and the creator has spent the goodwill you were paying for.

  • We wanted to run it as an ad and could not

A creator's post lives on their profile. Promoting it from your company page needs a permission switched on at their end and a separate fee, and by then you have nothing to negotiate with.

  • Their followers turned out to be job seekers

A following built on career advice reaches people looking for work, not people signing purchase orders. The follower count says nothing about who is in the comments.

What we do

Everything that is included.

Each deliverable, and what it gets you. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Vetting on the comments, not the count

Who replies to this person and what they do for a living. A shortlist with the reason each name is on it and what each one charges.

  2. The deliverable written down

How many posts, which formats, whether a newsletter issue or a live session is included, and the dates. Deliverables agreed by handshake shrink.

  3. Usage rights settled first

Whether you may run the post as a paid advertisement, reuse the video or quote it on your site, and for how long. Each is a separate permission with its own fee.

  4. A brief, not a script

The three things that must be true, the claim they may not make, and everything else left alone. They write it in their own words or it does not work.

  5. Disclosure handled properly

The paid partnership declared as the platform and the Indian advertising codes expect. In a regulated trade, your own compliance adviser confirms the wording.

  6. A page used nowhere else

One landing page for this campaign, so a visit arriving from the post is countable and your sales team knows what the caller already read.

  7. A read on who turned up

Company page visitors and enquiries described by job role, because ten of the right titles is worth more than a thousand of the wrong ones.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries arriving through the campaign page
  • Job titles visiting your company page during the run
  • Self-reported source on enquiry forms
  • Meetings booked with the roles you were aiming at
  • Cost per meeting against your other B2B channels

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for you if these sound familiar.

  • B2B sellers whose buyer is a named job title and whose sale takes months to close
  • Manufacturers and industrial suppliers whose product is judged by people who read about the field
  • Software and IT services firms selling to a committee with somebody technical on it
  • Employers who need candidates to hear about the company from a person rather than a careers page
  • Founders with no audience of their own yet, borrowing one while they build it

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Consumer businesses selling to walk-in customers, who are not reading LinkedIn about you
  • Anyone who wants to approve the post line by line, because a scripted post reads as an advertisement and buys nothing
  • A single post with no plan behind it, which is a week of attention and then silence

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the LinkedIn influencer marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Name the reader first

We start from the job titles on the buying committee. The search for creators follows that, instead of starting from a list of popular accounts.

  2. 2

Read a month of their feed

Shortlisted creators are read backwards: who engages, what they have promoted lately, and how often they take paid work. Somebody promoting a product every week has nothing left to lend.

  3. 3

    Negotiate deliverable and rights together

Format, dates, usage and disclosure are settled in one conversation before money moves. Rights bought afterwards cost more, every time.

  4. 4

    Brief them, then step back

The creator gets the facts, the limits and half an hour with somebody technical from your side, and then writes it.

  5. 5

Route it and measure over months

The campaign page, the question on your enquiry form and a report by job title, read across the months your sale actually takes.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What does a LinkedIn creator charge?
There is no rate card. Most have a job, post because they enjoy it, and price a paid post at what lending their name is worth to them. Two creators with similar audiences quote very differently. Our fee for finding and running them is separate from what they are paid, and follows the free audit.
Can we run their post as an advertisement from our page?
Only with their permission, switched on at their end, and for a separate fee. Agree it in the first conversation. Asking after a post has done well leaves you with no room to negotiate.
How long does one post keep working?
In the feed, about two days. On their profile it stays, and it surfaces again when somebody searches that person or the topic before a meeting. The second life is quiet and worth more than the first.
Can we approve the wording?
You can correct facts and rule out claims you cannot support. You cannot write it. Their audience reads them because they do not sound like a company, and the moment they do, your money is gone.
How do we know it worked when our sale takes eight months?
By asking. A campaign page, a question on the enquiry form about where they heard of you, and a note of which job titles came in. We report that month by month, because nobody signs a purchase order straight off a post.
Would our own founder posting be cheaper?
Almost certainly, and much slower. Building your founder's own profile is worth doing and is separate work. A creator is what you buy when the right people need to hear about you before that audience exists.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
