Explainer and product demonstration videos · Marketing

Show the product working before the buyer has to imagine it.

A buyer comparing three similar machines, or a patient deciding whether to go ahead with a procedure, is trying to picture something they have not seen. A paragraph of specification asks them to do that work alone. A clear video does it for them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

A production team reviewing footage and a video storyboard

In one paragraph

Explainer and product demonstration videos show how a complex product works or what a procedure involves, in a few minutes a buyer or patient can follow. GullySales writes the script with your technical people, plans where each video will be watched, and places it on the pages, profiles and ads where the question is asked.

This page covers the explainer, the product demonstration and the educational video. Our video production page covers the wider trade, from the factory walkthrough to the brand film. This one starts from a single question your buyer keeps asking and answers it on screen.

In regulated trades, the script is the part that needs the closest care. A medical device maker or a clinic should not promise an outcome in a video, and we do not write one. The video explains what the product or procedure is and how it is used, and points the viewer to their own adviser for decisions about their case.

The problem

Does this sound like your business?

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • “Our sales team explains the same thing on every call”

The same ten-minute walk through how the machine is set up or how the device is used is repeated for each enquiry. A video does that first explanation once, and the call can start further along.

  • “The brochure shows the product but not how it works”

A catalogue page lists specifications. It does not show the operator loading the part or the clinician preparing the patient, which is what the buyer is trying to understand.

  • “Patients arrive anxious because nobody explained the procedure”

A clinic that describes a procedure only in a consultation leaves the patient to search for videos made by strangers. Your own plain-language video puts an accurate explanation where they are already looking.

  • “We made a demonstration video and it is too technical to watch”

It was shot as a record for engineers, with no opening question, no structure and no ending. Buyers stop watching long before the useful part.

What we do

Everything that is included.

Each deliverable, and what it gets you. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. The requirements brief

The first step. We agree who the video is for, the one question it answers, where it will be watched and who on your side checks the content.

  2. Script written with your technical people

Your engineer, clinician or product specialist supplies the facts. We turn them into a script in plain language that a buyer who is not an expert can follow.

  3. Regulated-trade wording

For medical and other regulated products and procedures, the script describes use and does not claim outcomes, and it tells viewers to check with their own adviser. Your own compliance contact approves the final wording.

  4. Format chosen for the question

A live demonstration, a screen or animated explainer, or a clinician speaking to camera. The format follows what the viewer needs to see, and the scope is agreed in writing.

  5. Language and captions

Captions added so the video works with the sound off, and the language chosen for your buyers, whether English or an Indian language, agreed at the brief.

  6. Placement on the pages that need it

The video is placed on the product page, the procedure page, the Google Business Profile or an advertisement, wherever the buyer is asking the question.

How the result is measured

  • Videos completed and approved against the agreed script
  • Views and watch time on each page or platform
  • Enquiries that mention or follow a view of the video
  • Questions removed from the sales call because the video answers them

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for you if these sound familiar.

  • Manufacturers of machinery, equipment and components whose sales team spends calls explaining how the product works
  • Medical device makers and suppliers whose buyers need to understand use before they ask for a quotation
  • Clinics that want patients to understand a procedure, in plain language, before they come in
  • Businesses whose product has several steps or parts that are hard to describe in text
  • Distributors who need a clear demonstration to hand to a dealer or a hospital purchase team

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a promise of results from a treatment or a product, which a responsible video in a regulated trade cannot make
  • The product is simple enough that a photograph and a line of text already explain it
  • There is no one on your side who can check the technical or clinical content before it is published

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs

  1. 1

    Requirements brief

We agree the audience, the question, the product or procedure covered and who approves the content. Scope and fee are agreed in writing after this brief.

  2. 2

    Script and storyboard

We write the script with your specialist, and sketch what is shown on screen at each point. You approve both before anything is filmed or animated.

  3. 3

    Content check on your side

Your technical, clinical or compliance lead reviews the script for accuracy and for any claim that should not be made. Changes are made before production.

  4. 4

    Production

The video is made in the format agreed in the scope. The production arrangements, including who films or animates it, are set out in the written scope.

  5. 5

Publish where the question is asked

The finished video is placed on the pages, profiles or ads agreed at the brief, with captions, and the enquiries it brings are recorded.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can the video say that a procedure or product will work?
No. For medical devices, clinics and other regulated trades we describe what the product or procedure is and how it is used, and we do not claim an outcome. Viewers are told to check with their own adviser, and your compliance contact approves the final wording.
What is the difference between an explainer and a product demonstration?
An explainer teaches an idea, such as how a process or a procedure works. A demonstration shows the actual product in use. Some products need both, and the brief decides which comes first.
Who provides the technical content?
You do. We are not engineers or clinicians in your field. We interview your specialist, write the script and ask them to check it, so the facts in the video are yours.
Do you do motion graphics and animation as well?
Animated sections can be part of an explainer where a mechanism cannot be filmed. Whether a video uses animation, filming or both is set out in the written scope after the brief.
Who films or animates the video?
The production arrangements for your video are described in the written scope agreed after the requirements brief. We do not fix them before we know what the video needs.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
