CRM, lead flow and sales techniques · Content as a sales tool

A two-minute video from a real person gets a reply that a PDF does not.

Video first selling means leading with a short video from a named person on your team, in place of a long email or a brochure. It covers prospecting videos, answers to common buyer questions and faces on your website. This page ends with a video plan you can start with a phone.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph

Video first selling means leading with a short video from a named person on your team, in place of a long email or a brochure. It covers prospecting videos, answers to common buyer questions and faces on your website. This page ends with a video plan you can start with a phone.

A physiotherapy equipment dealer in Coimbatore wants to reach clinic owners across Tamil Nadu. The rep sends a catalogue PDF on WhatsApp and hears nothing. A week later the owner of the dealership records a one-minute Tamil clip, says the clinic owner's name, holds up the machine and explains one use. Two people reply the same afternoon.

The reason is not the video format. It is that a face and a voice tell the buyer that a real person is behind the message, and the clip can name them. A brochure cannot do that.

The sales head decides which videos to make and who appears in them. The rep records prospecting clips from a phone. Marketing, or whoever looks after your social channels, publishes the answers to common questions. It replaces long introductory emails.

The webinars page covers live sessions, and the educational content page covers written material. This page is about short clips made for one person or one question.

If you want this done for you

Shoot a month of vertical video in one day, or do not start.

The work

What this is actually like.

  • “Name the prospect in the first sentence”

A video that opens with the person's name and business is watched. A video that opens with a company introduction is skipped. Hold up the thing you mention, show their shop board, or point at their street if you have been there.

  • “Two minutes is the ceiling”

Prospecting clips beyond two minutes are rarely finished. Say who you are, what you noticed about them, one useful idea and one question. The question should be easy to answer with a voice note or a thumbs up.

  • “Do not polish it”

A phone held at eye level in daylight is enough. Studio lighting and a script read from a prompter make the clip sound like an advertisement, which is the thing you are trying to avoid.

  • “Question videos last longer than outreach”

A clip of the owner answering what does installation cost or how do I check the warranty is sent again and again by reps, and sits on the website for years. Record the ten questions your reps hear every week before you record anything clever.

What we do

What you end up with.

The documents this topic produces, what each one is for, and how you know it is finished.

  1. The video plan

A sheet listing each video: type (prospecting, question, meet the team), who appears, the language, the question it answers, where it will be posted, and a date to record.

Result: Finished when the first five videos have a name and a recording day.

  2. The prospecting clip script

A four-line outline: greeting with their name, something you noticed, one useful idea, one easy question. Rehearse once, record twice, send the better take.

Result: Finished when a rep can record a clip in about ten minutes without notes.

  3. The question video set

Short clips answering the questions in your library gap map, each under ninety seconds, each starting with the question as the buyer would phrase it.

Result: Finished when a rep can send a link for any top-ten question.

  4. The faces page

Photographs of the people a buyer will meet, with a one-line introduction and a thirty-second clip each if possible, on the About page and in the proposal.

Result: Finished when a prospect can recognise the rep at the door.

  5. The reply comparison

A table of videos sent and replies received, set beside the same figures for text messages in the same period.

Result: Finished when the owner can say which format earned more replies.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a studio or an editor?
No. A recent phone, daylight and a quiet corner are enough for prospecting clips. Use an editor for the website's main video, where a trimmed start and end are worth paying for.
Which language should the video be in?
The language the prospect speaks in business. In a smaller town that is the local language, with English words for product names. Subtitles help people watching with the sound off.
Where should we post the question videos?
On your website near the page they relate to, on YouTube, and as Reels or Shorts. Keep a copy in the sales library so reps can send the link directly.
What if the team is camera shy?
Start with the owner or the person who is happiest explaining. One confident voice is better than a team of nervous ones, and others join once they see replies come in.
How do we know it is working?
Count replies to videos against replies to text for the same type of prospect over the same weeks. If the video group replies at a higher rate, make more. If not, check the first sentence.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts. For sales work it is mostly our time, with production only where scripts, decks or CRM setup need it.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time and follow-up are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Process, CRM and training changes show as the team uses them. Each one is tracked against the baseline.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
To start, last month's enquiries in any format and time with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM.
