Product photography and image editing · Marketing

Show every product the way a buyer needs to see it.

A buyer cannot hold your product. The image is the only thing they have to judge it by, and a dark photo, a cluttered background or a catalogue where every item is shot differently tells them the business is careless before they read a word.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph

Product photography and image editing covers the photography brief, the editing of product images, clean backgrounds and a consistent look across a whole catalogue. How the photography is carried out and delivered is agreed in writing after the requirements brief.

Dealers, manufacturers and marketplace sellers all need the same thing: clean images that show the product clearly, look alike from one item to the next, and meet the size and background rules of wherever they are published. Those rules belong to each platform and change, so check the platform's current rules before images are finalised.

We start with the requirements brief: what you sell, the number of items, where the images will be used and what you already have. Scope and fee are agreed in writing after that brief, and so is how the photography is arranged and delivered.

The problem

Does this sound like your business?

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • “Images differ from one product to the next”

Different lighting, angles and backgrounds across a catalogue make the range look unplanned and make products harder to compare.

  • “Supplier and phone photos are not fit to publish”

Cluttered backgrounds, poor light and uneven cropping weaken a listing, a catalogue page or a website product page.

  • “Images are rejected or look wrong on a platform”

Each marketplace and advertising platform sets its own image rules. Files made for one place may need rework for another.

What we do

Everything that is included.

Each deliverable, and what it gets you. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Photography brief

A written brief for each product type: angles, detail shots, props if any, and what a buyer needs to see.

  2. Product photography arrangements

How the photography is carried out, by whom and where, agreed in writing before any work starts.

  3. Image editing and retouching

Cropping, colour and exposure correction, and removal of dust, marks and distractions, without changing the product itself.

  4. Background cleaning and replacement

Plain or consistent backgrounds so products sit together cleanly in a catalogue or listing.

  5. Catalogue consistency

One agreed look for size, framing, shadow and background across every item in the range.

  6. Files for each use

Image versions sized and named for your website, marketplace listings, printed catalogue and advertising, set against each platform's current rules.

How the result is measured

  • Images that match the agreed look across every item in the range
  • Products shown true to the item a buyer will receive
  • Files that meet the current image rules of each platform you publish on
  • Image files organised and named so your team can find the right one

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for you if these sound familiar.

  • Dealers and distributors who list long product ranges and need images that look the same from item to item
  • Manufacturers preparing catalogues, dealer packs and tender documents with clear product images
  • Marketplace and online sellers who must meet each platform's image requirements
  • Retailers whose supplier photos arrive in mixed sizes, backgrounds and quality
  • Owners with a folder of phone photos that need cleaning up before they are published

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Businesses looking for lifestyle campaign shoots with models, locations and a film crew
  • Owners who want an image changed so that it misrepresents the product a buyer will receive

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs

  1. 1

    Take the requirements brief

We record the products, the quantity, where the images will appear and what material you already hold.

  2. 2

Agree scope and fee in writing

The work, how the photography is arranged and delivered, and the fee are written down and agreed after the brief.

  3. 3

Set the look for the catalogue

We agree angles, background, framing and file formats on a few products before the full range.

  4. 4

    Photograph and edit

Images are made and edited to the agreed look, with each file checked against the product it shows.

  5. 5

    Review and hand over

You review the images, corrections are made, and files are handed over in the agreed formats.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do you have your own photography studio?
How the photography is arranged and delivered is agreed in writing after the requirements brief. We do not assume an arrangement before we know what you sell and the size of the range.
Can you edit photos we already have?
Yes, where the originals are good enough to work from. We look at a sample first and tell you in writing what can be corrected.
Will you change how the product looks?
No. Editing cleans the image and the background. It does not alter the colour, size or features of the product, because the buyer must receive what the image shows.
Will the images meet marketplace requirements?
We prepare files against each platform's current rules, which you should also check yourself because platforms change them.
Do better images guarantee more sales?
No. We do not promise sales, leads or rankings. We promise careful work against a scope agreed in writing.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
