Review rejected leads with someone neutral, then bring the undecided back.

A rejected lead review checks, impartially, why sales turned leads down or never called them. A no-decision programme keeps contact with buyers who said 'we will think about it'. The page ends in a recycle list built once a month from both.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph

A rejected lead review checks, impartially, why sales turned leads down or never called them. A no-decision programme keeps contact with buyers who said 'we will think about it'. The page ends in a recycle list built once a month from both.

Sales says the leads from a property portal are rubbish. Marketing says nobody calls them. Both are partly right and neither can prove it, because a rejected lead in this company is a lead that vanishes. A flat buyer in Kochi asked for a brochure in June and was never contacted.

A neutral reviewer settles it. In a small company that is the owner, or whoever is not the head of sales or marketing. They pull a sample of rejected and never-contacted leads, read the notes, and rule on each: fair rejection, wrong rejection, or not called. The sales head and marketing head attend and may speak, but do not rule.

The second job is the buyer who did not say no. 'Family decision pending' is a real stage for a home or a wedding purchase, and 'after the audit' is a real stage for a business. Tag these deals no decision with the reason, and bring them back at a time that matches the reason.

This page comes after the lead KPIs, which show where leads drop out, and before the pacing plan, which spreads the recycled leads through the month.

The work

What this is actually like.

  • “The reviewer must not run either team”

If the sales head reviews the sales team's rejections, the review becomes a defence. Choose someone who can read a sheet and who both teams respect. Give them the final say for the review only.

  • “'Not now' is not 'no'”

A buyer who says 'call after Diwali' has given you a date. A buyer who says 'send details' and then goes silent has not. Tag the first as no decision with a return date and the second as cold, and keep the two lists apart.

  • “Recycle on the buyer's calendar, not yours”

Return to a wedding buyer before the next muhurat season, a farmer after harvest, a school after admissions. Pick the trigger from the reason in the notes, not from a bulk date in your own diary.

  • “A reason code beats a free-text note”

Free text cannot be counted. Use a short list: price, timing, family decision, competitor, no budget, not a fit, unreachable. Add 'other' with a note, and review 'other' each quarter for a new code.

What we do

What you end up with.

The documents this topic produces, what each one is for, and how you know it is finished.

  1. Rejected lead sample

Twenty to thirty rejected or never-contacted leads, pulled at random, with source, rep, reason given and the reviewer's ruling. Prepared by the lead owner, ruled on by the reviewer.

Result: Finished when every sampled lead has a ruling and a one-line reason.

  2. Reason code list

Seven or eight codes with one-line definitions, loaded into the CRM or sheet as a drop-down.

Result: Finished when reps can no longer close a lead without choosing a code.

  3. No-decision tag and return date

Two columns: reason the buyer paused, and the date or event to return. The rep fills both when the deal stalls.

Result: Finished when no stalled deal has a blank return date.

  4. Monthly recycle list

A short list of leads to contact this month, with the reason, the last message sent and a suggested opening line. Owned by the person running nurture.

Result: Finished when each name on the list gets a call or message within the same month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Who should run the review?
The owner, or a manager who is neither in sales nor marketing. The point is that the rulings are accepted by both teams. Hold it every week at first, then less as the disputes shrink.
How long should I keep chasing a no-decision lead?
As long as the reason still holds. A family decision may resolve in weeks; a budget cycle in months. Set a limit on touches per lead and retire the lead after that, with a reason.
Is it fair to contact a lead who said no?
If they said stop, respect it and mark the record. If they only paused, a well-timed message is normal. Rules on calling and messaging differ and change, so confirm yours with your adviser.
What do I say to a recycled lead?
Refer to the reason they gave and what has changed since: a new batch, a festival offer, a site visit date. A message that ignores their reason reads as a mass mailing.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts. For sales work it is mostly our time, with production only where scripts, decks or CRM setup need it.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
To start, last month's enquiries in any format and time with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
