Advertising agencies · Local SEO

Be on the map for the showroom two roads away.

Local SEO for an advertising agency is the work of appearing on Google Maps and in searches that name your city, which is how a smaller advertiser such as a showroom or a coaching centre looks for an agency. GullySales sets up the profile, the listings and the area pages.

A market cross in a small town square: a stepped stone cross of four worn tiers standing in a ring of cobbles, a coil of stall rope left on the bottom step, a chalk pitch marked out on the stones and a chalk arrow pointing in from the nearest lane

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For advertising agencies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Smaller advertisers search by city, then by street

A jeweller looking for an ad agency near them rings the first three on Maps, in the order they appear.

  • Your profile still carries the founder's house

Agencies that started at home leave the old address live, so the pin lands nowhere near the studio.

  • Photographs of work beat photographs of reception

A hoarding you put up and a full page you placed tell a walk-in what you do in one glance.

What we do

What we deliver for advertising agencies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A Business Profile that points at the studio

The listing moved off the founder's old home address and verified, with the right category, working hours and the media you buy named in the description.

Result: The pin lands where a walk-in can actually find you.

  2. Photographs of the work, not of reception

A hoarding you put up, a full page as it appeared in print and a shop front you branded, uploaded to the profile and refreshed through the season.

Result: A jeweller scrolling Maps sees what you do in one glance.

  3. Pages for the markets your smaller advertisers trade in

A page for each commercial road or market where showrooms, clinics and coaching centres sit, naming the media that work there.

Result: A search that names a locality has something to find.

  4. One set of details across every listing

Name, address, phone and website checked on Maps, JustDial, IndiaMART and the trade directories, so nothing you left behind contradicts your site.

Result: An advertiser checking you up finds one agency, not three.

  5. Review requests sent the week a campaign appears

A short ask to the client while the hoarding is up and the insertion is fresh, rather than months later when the billing is done.

Result: Walk-in advertisers read recent reviews instead of three old ones.

  6. Calls from the listing counted every month

Enquiries traced to the profile and reported separately from referrals, measured against the baseline recorded before work began.

Result: You know whether Maps is worth the photographs.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for advertising agencies

  2. 2

    Set the position

A decision on which advertiser categories and media you lead with, written into the deck and website.

  3. 3

    Build the pipeline

An advertiser calendar with every client's season, and a pitch kit ready for the next brief.

  4. 4

    Reach out early

Category campaigns timed to launches, admissions and festivals, plus referral relationships with media owners.

  5. 5

    Review and renew

Post-campaign reviews with each client and a plan for next season before this one is billed.

Why us

Why a studio brings us in for its own pipeline.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

We work the part after the enquiry as well: the reply, the follow-up, the proposal and the CRM your own pipeline runs on.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We work across India. Does a city listing hold us back?
No. The listing wins local walk-ins, and the rest of the site carries the work you do elsewhere.
What should the Business Profile say we do?
The media you buy and the categories you know, in the words an advertiser uses when asking for them.
Can a traditional agency still grow when clients are moving to digital?
Yes, if it stops selling media alone. Builders, institutions and retailers still spend on print, radio and outdoor, and an agency that can plan those alongside digital keeps the whole budget.
Should we take part in pitches that ask for free creative?
Only when the account is worth it and the odds are fair. Ask how many agencies are pitching and whether a pitch fee is paid, and decline briefs where the creative could simply be taken and handed to a cheaper supplier.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
