Business consultants · Branding

Look like a practice an owner would put in front of their board.

Branding for a consulting practice is the name, the proposal cover, the deck and the tone of your writing, all judged before an owner has seen any work. GullySales settles what the practice is known for, where the partner's name sits beside it, and makes every document look like one firm.

A sign-painter's bench: a shop sign on a low easel lettered as far as its last character, which is still only pencilled in, a mahl stick laid across the work, open tins of paint on the floor and a finished sign hanging from its iron bracket above

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

For business consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The partner's name is the brand and the firm name is the wrapper

An owner tells a friend the name of the consultant who helped, never the name of the firm. The identity has to carry that person, from the photograph to the proposal signature.

  • A grand name promises a size you do not have

Calling a two-person practice a global advisory group invites a question about team strength in the first meeting. A plain name with one sentence on the problem you fix survives that.

  • The proposal is where the brand is really seen

Most owners meet your identity on a scoping proposal they read twice and pass to a brother or a CFO. A fee table assembled in a hurry starts the judgement early.

What we do

What we deliver for business consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A decision on the name, and where the partner's sits beside it

Whether you trade as yourself or as a firm, settled once and applied to the website, the signature block and the way you are introduced at a talk.

Result: Everything you send out agrees about who you are.

  2. One sentence on the problem you fix and whose problem it is

A single line used in the bio, the LinkedIn headline and the first page of every proposal, in place of a list of six practice areas.

Result: A CA can repeat what you do to a client in one breath.

  3. A proposal template with scope, phases and a fee table

The document an owner reads twice and passes to a brother or a CFO, laid out so the phases and the fee can be followed without you in the room.

Result: Your fee reads as considered rather than assembled overnight.

  4. A photograph and two biographies of the partner

A short one for an association programme or an event listing, and a longer one for proposals and empanelment paperwork.

Result: Nobody writes their own version of you the night before a talk.

  5. Report covers, decks and invoices in one identity

The documents that leave your office during an engagement, built on the same type, colours and name as the proposal that won it.

Result: The handover report looks like it came from the practice that pitched.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for business consultants

  1. 1

    Assess

We trace where your last engagements came from, how proposals convert and where the pipeline depends on one person or one referrer.

  2. 2

    Sharpen the position

One clear statement of the problem you solve and for whom, with service pages written around owner problems.

  3. 3

    Make the work visible

Anonymised case studies, articles and LinkedIn posts in the partner's voice.

  4. 4

    Widen the sources

A referral programme with CAs, bankers and associations, search pages for specific problems, and outreach to past clients.

  5. 5

    Close and continue

A proposal follow-up schedule and a follow-on offer planned before each engagement ends.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we name the practice after ourselves?
It is the honest option while the practice is one person selling their judgement. If you plan to add consultants, pick a name a second partner can sign.
Do we need a logo before we start marketing?
No. A readable name, one typeface, a proper photograph of the partner and a consistent proposal template carry you further. Settle the positioning first.
How can we market our work if every client is confidential?
Describe the problem and the approach without the name. For example, an account of how an auto component supplier fixed its costing is useful proof with no name attached. Some clients will also agree to be named once asked properly.
Should a consultant specialise or stay general?
Specialise in how you are presented, even if you take broader work. Owners search for their problem, and a consultant known for one thing gets referred more often than one who does everything.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
