Business consultants · Search engine optimisation

Be found for the problem you fix, not for the words business consultant.

SEO for a consulting practice decides whether an owner searching for a succession adviser or an ISO 9001 consultant reaches your page or a directory listing. GullySales builds a page for each problem you are hired to fix, and checks what shows up when someone searches your own name.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For business consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Owners search the problem, not the job title

Nobody types management consultant. They type project report for a bank loan, and the page written for that phrase is the one they open.

  • Your own name is a search term

A CA passes on your name and the owner searches it before replying. An old bio on a firm you left, ranking above your own site, costs you that meeting.

  • Certification work ranks faster than advisory work

Searches naming a standard, such as ZED or ISO 14001, are winnable. Pages on growth advice are built to be read and forwarded, because large firms own those results.

What we do

What we deliver for business consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each problem you are hired to fix

Succession in a family business, a project report for a bank loan, ISO 9001 readiness, a cost reduction project, each written as an owner would describe it.

Result: An owner who knows what is wrong finds the page that names it.

  2. Your own name cleaned up in search results

The bio still sitting on a firm you left, the stale directory entries and the profiles that outrank your site, tracked down and corrected or removed.

Result: What the referred owner finds matches what his CA told him.

  3. Certification pages built to rank, advisory pages built to be forwarded

Pages naming a standard, such as ZED or ISO 14001, written to compete in search, while the growth and succession pages are written for an owner to read and send on.

Result: Effort goes where it can win instead of into a fight with the large firms.

  4. A partner page with photograph, background and the work you take

The page an owner opens before replying to a referral, carrying who you are, what you have fixed and which engagements you accept.

Result: The decision is made about a person, which is what is being bought.

  5. Monthly reporting on each problem page

Position and enquiries for every page, set against the baseline recorded before the work started.

Result: You can see which problem deserves a second page.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for business consultants

  1. 1

    Assess

We trace where your last engagements came from, how proposals convert and where the pipeline depends on one person or one referrer.

  2. 2

    Sharpen the position

One clear statement of the problem you solve and for whom, with service pages written around owner problems.

  3. 3

    Make the work visible

Anonymised case studies, articles and LinkedIn posts in the partner's voice.

  4. 4

    Widen the sources

A referral programme with CAs, bankers and associations, search pages for specific problems, and outreach to past clients.

  5. 5

    Close and continue

A proposal follow-up schedule and a follow-on offer planned before each engagement ends.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Every client so far came by referral. Can search add any?
Yes, for the problems an owner knows the name of: certification, a project report, a plan for investors. Search finds the owner who has nobody to ask.
Should these pages sit on the firm's site or the partner's?
On the firm's site, with the partner named and photographed. An owner is deciding whether to trust one person's judgement, so the page must say which person.
How can we market our work if every client is confidential?
Describe the problem and the approach without the name. For example, an account of how an auto component supplier fixed its costing is useful proof with no name attached. Some clients will also agree to be named once asked properly.
Should a consultant specialise or stay general?
Specialise in how you are presented, even if you take broader work. Owners search for their problem, and a consultant known for one thing gets referred more often than one who does everything.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
