Business consultants · Content marketing

Publish the thinking that makes an owner want your opinion.

Content marketing is how a consultant shows judgement before anybody has hired them: articles, anonymised cases, a checklist an owner can run over their own business. GullySales turns the questions you answer in meetings every week into pages an owner can find and forward, published under the partner's name.

A newsstand under a striped awning: three tiers of folded publications racked spine on, one title on the top tier turned to face the street, and a crate of rolled copies at the foot of the stand

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the free audit onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For business consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The article gets forwarded to the person you never meet

An owner sends your piece on succession to the brother who is blocking the handover. Writing for that second reader is what turns an article into a meeting.

  • A case study with no client name still does the job

Confidentiality does not stop you writing about a textile unit that shortened its collection cycle, and how it was done. The industry and the approach carry the proof.

  • Write what you would say for free

Consultants hold the method back in case somebody copies it. An owner who reads something thorough enough to act on decides he wants the person behind it.

What we do

What we deliver for business consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A running list of questions from scoping calls

Gathered after each call and kept as the source everything else is written from, since the same questions repeat more than owners realise.

Result: The writing comes from what owners are actually asking.

  2. Articles written for the second reader

The brother blocking the handover, the CFO, the banker: the person your article gets forwarded to, addressed directly.

Result: A forwarded article becomes a first meeting.

  3. Cases written at the level of the industry, not the client

A textile unit that shortened its collection cycle, a family firm that settled signing authority, with the method shown and no name used.

Result: Your proof does not need anybody's permission.

  4. A checklist an owner can run over his own business

A short, usable document, such as a working capital check or a succession readiness list, that gives a real answer rather than a sales pitch.

Result: An owner who used it decides he wants the person behind it.

  5. Everything published under the partner's name

A byline, a photograph, the credentials and a way to reply, instead of articles that appear to come from a company nobody has met.

Result: The reader knows whose judgement they are testing.

  6. Meetings booked reported instead of reads

Each article, case and checklist tagged so the monthly report shows which one an enquiry came through.

Result: You stop writing the kind of piece nobody acts on.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for business consultants

  1. 1

    Assess

We trace where your last engagements came from, how proposals convert and where the pipeline depends on one person or one referrer.

  2. 2

    Sharpen the position

One clear statement of the problem you solve and for whom, with service pages written around owner problems.

  3. 3

    Make the work visible

Anonymised case studies, articles and LinkedIn posts in the partner's voice.

  4. 4

    Widen the sources

A referral programme with CAs, bankers and associations, search pages for specific problems, and outreach to past clients.

  5. 5

    Close and continue

A proposal follow-up schedule and a follow-on offer planned before each engagement ends.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where do we find topics without breaking client confidentiality?
In the questions owners ask on scoping calls, which repeat more than you would expect. Write at the level of the industry, not the client, and check the draft against your engagement letter.
How long before an article brings an enquiry?
Months. The first ones come from people who already know you sharing the piece, and search traffic builds after that. So we report meetings booked, not reads.
How can we market our work if every client is confidential?
Describe the problem and the approach without the name. For example, an account of how an auto component supplier fixed its costing is useful proof with no name attached. Some clients will also agree to be named once asked properly.
Should a consultant specialise or stay general?
Specialise in how you are presented, even if you take broader work. Owners search for their problem, and a consultant known for one thing gets referred more often than one who does everything.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
