Business consultants · Lead generation

Fill the diary with owners whose problem you have solved before.

Lead generation for a consulting practice means a steady flow of scoping calls with owners whose problem sits inside your specialism, instead of waiting for the next referral. GullySales widens the sources beyond your three regular referrers, qualifies each enquiry before it reaches the partner, and records which CA or association sent it.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For business consultants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • A referral and a cold enquiry are not the same lead

An owner sent by his CA arrives half sold and asks about dates. A stranger from a search result is still working out who you are.

  • The scoping call is the qualification

Half an hour tells you whether the promoter owns the decision and whether anybody inside will act on the report. An enquiry that fails both is a proposal not worth writing.

  • Free advice arrives disguised as an enquiry

Some owners want the diagnosis without the engagement, and some callers are consultants pricing you. Write down what the first call covers and what begins at the proposal.

What we do

What we deliver for business consultants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Sources widened past the three CAs and one banker

Association talks, the website, LinkedIn, past clients and the certification bodies, each set up to produce enquiries and each recorded separately.

Result: One retirement no longer takes a third of your work with it.

  2. A written scope for what the first call covers

What you answer free, what needs a diagnostic, and the point at which a proposal begins, agreed inside the practice and said on the call.

Result: You can be generous without handing over the engagement.

  3. Qualifying questions asked before the partner's diary is opened

Who owns the decision, what has already been tried, whether the family agrees there is a problem, and whether anyone inside will act on a report.

Result: The partner's half hour goes to owners who can say yes.

  4. Two first replies, one for a referral and one for a stranger

The referred owner is moved to dates and scope, while a search enquiry is first told who you are and what you have fixed in a business like his.

Result: Neither gets a reply that was written for the other.

  5. The referrer recorded against every enquiry

The CA, banker, association, article or search that sent each enquiry, written down at the time and reported every month against the audit baseline.

Result: You know who to take to lunch and which article to write again.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for business consultants

  1. 1

    Assess

We trace where your last engagements came from, how proposals convert and where the pipeline depends on one person or one referrer.

  2. 2

    Sharpen the position

One clear statement of the problem you solve and for whom, with service pages written around owner problems.

  3. 3

    Make the work visible

Anonymised case studies, articles and LinkedIn posts in the partner's voice.

  4. 4

    Widen the sources

A referral programme with CAs, bankers and associations, search pages for specific problems, and outreach to past clients.

  5. 5

    Close and continue

A proposal follow-up schedule and a follow-on offer planned before each engagement ends.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we find our own enquiries without upsetting the CAs who refer us?
Tell them what you are doing and why. A referrer who reads your articles sends better matched clients, because the page has already explained which problems you take.
How many enquiries does a two-person practice actually need?
Fewer than owners expect. A practice running three engagements at a time needs a handful of well-matched scoping calls a month, so qualification matters more than volume.
How can we market our work if every client is confidential?
Describe the problem and the approach without the name. For example, an account of how an auto component supplier fixed its costing is useful proof with no name attached. Some clients will also agree to be named once asked properly.
Should a consultant specialise or stay general?
Specialise in how you are presented, even if you take broader work. Owners search for their problem, and a consultant known for one thing gets referred more often than one who does everything.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
